The boy was a champ today. So was his mom - who bore the brunt of a day that started at 4am. Spinal fusion surgery at Mary Bridge was a success. Now he’s resting in the pediatric ICU (mainly as a precaution). All the docs, nurses and staff have been great. Hug your kids.
