Grateful the @MoCoCouncilMD unanimously passed my Accelerate MoCo package to cut red tape, speed lifesaving bio innovation, & expand mixed-income housing. We need to make it easier, faster, and cheaper to invest in Montgomery County -- to build affordable housing and create jobs.

Our future is brighter when we keep affordability for families at the forefront of our decisions: by reducing the cost of living, expanding economic growth and private sector investment to fund priorities, and being more effective and efficient with the tax dollars we receive.

“Officials are still searching for a motive.” This was a heinous attack on Jews including 140 preschool children because they were Jews. This is what normalizing antisemitism looks like and why identifying, combatting, and condemning it is so important. Words matter.

You don’t make Montgomery County more affordable by making it more expensive. We need a County Executive who understands that.
