Politics Twitter would be a much better place if all us posters was forced to watch even just one (1) swing/sporadic voter focus group a month. Polls have their place, but nothing replaces hearing people in their own words. It’s a really good way to, effectively, touch grass.

@ASDem I will say, their LA Mayor poll had significantly fewer undecideds against the full field of pollsters (granted a much smaller field than the Gov race)

Appears IGS (Berkeley)is in the field polling the CA Govenors race and the Los Angeles Mayoral. So we will have a high quality poll in both races in the coming days after Memorial Day.

Folks who have signed up for the ballot tracker today got a detailed comparison to 2022 Primary.
As an example, in the LA Mayoral race, Dem share of vote is down 11pts and Rep turnout is up 8.5%.
But you can see the real drop is Seniors and Dem seniors specifically.
