What are the main reasons people, in other countries, use VPNs to access US based online services? - Trick services into thinking they are Americans (to get American services). - Trick other people into thinking they are American. - Hide from their own government while tricking people into thinking they are American. Those are the only ones I can think of. Did I miss anything? I don’t mean this as a “VPNs are bad argument”… but are there any other uses which most people actually use VPNs for other than “tricking people”?
