Super glad we all "stayed the blazes home" so that rich people could return to their pastimes while many people are still out of work.

We've gone from "don't go to the park down the street" to "go to your cottage or your yacht club" pretty fucking fast.

Lockdown at @lockviewhigh has been lifted. Hold & secure at area elementary & junior highs lifted as well. Everyone is safe. Schools will be updating parents later today. Thanks to @RCMPNS for keeping our communities safe

Hey Halifax, if you still don't have power and are in need of a hot meal I just cooked up two giant pots of chili at Joe Howe Superstore in the community room and we are giving it away for free. #HurricaneDorain

Schools will be closed tomorrow. HRCE Main Office building (Spectacle Lake) has power will be open. Directors will be contacting staff regarding work plans for Monday. Operations staff will be working to ensure schools are ready for opening.

The bad weather is causing major damage throughout #NS, including a crane collapse in Halifax.
