@jamesqquick How long do you usually stay for? Around my area, they usually kick you out after 30 minutes to an hour.

@t3dotgg Linux + a tiling manager like BSPWM is godly imho.

During my Amazon internship, I got Linux and i3 pilled really hard. 2 years later at my first real job, my manager used a Mac with all apps full screen. Just CMD+tab’d through it all. Fastest dev I’d ever seen. Since then, I dropped all the fancy shit. I’m much faster now

Saw a circle k clerk get stabbed last night. Really fucked up, how much cash can you get at circle k? The jacker walked right past me and made eye contact 1 minute before, said “excuse me”. Was my height 6.3 Careful out there.

I might have to go back in AGAIN, to close the store tonight so my stand in night shift perspn can go home early and be back at 5am tomorrow.

Being a manager sucks sometimes, long hours, covering shifts, etc. ugh.... I got a surprise call at the bar for a new hire that showed up out of the blue for training. Had to go back to the store just to tell her to come back tomorrow. #circle_k #management #manager

For over 10 years of my life, I worked at multiple gas stations frying chicken. - I learned a new skill - Built an entire career out of this - Changed the trajectory of my career and life. To NOW speaking in rooms where people sat on the floor because we ran out of chairs. 🤯

@khushbooverma Does it really matter what sex goes to the gym? As long as nobody is being creepy everything should be ok.

I noticed that I’m the only woman in the gym whereas there are nearly 20 men. Genuinely curious - why this ratio? 🤔

@DThompsonDev They're too locked down, can't really do much with them other then basic web browsing. I'll save up for some kind of solar power on my boat and then buy a laptop.

Another thing, I'm stuck working DOUBLE shifts until further notice..... right after I JUST got hired on...... smdh....

Right now I'm cooking Gas Station Chicken as well as being an Assistant Manager at Circle K. Don't have a laptop, nor do I have a place to code at other than my boat with no power. Stuck charging my stuff at work until I can get power on my boat.

I am TIRED of working at Hospitality / Customer Service jobs. I'll be making more tweets on my journey to become a web developer as soon as my phone gets turned back on.

@linuxopsys Not true at all. I want my absolute privacy when i'm using my desktop and phone. Linux provides that while Apple doesn't. Never trust giant corporations with your data, or money.
