Some exciting news: I’m joining @OpenAI to work on ChatGPT’s web infrastructure. ChatGPT has become part of how millions of people think, work, and build, and I’m really looking forward to helping shape what comes next alongside the remarkable team behind it. Can’t wait to get started!

It is absolutely devastating to announce that after 3 very devoted years, I have been abruptly let go from Clerk. Everyone knows how deeply I loved and championed for Clerk, and I am so absolutely devastated. I’ll be posting more about looking for a new role but this is all I can say right now.. I’m just in shock

@Jilles Nice! I actually really like using the @opencode desktop app for a lot of this. Being able to prompt to create new window instances is pretty cool though!

If you're running multiple coding agents (Codex, Claude Code, Pi) at once, you're going to want to watch this. Herdr is a terminal multiplexer that actually understands your agents. Oh, and it has incredible mouse support. Bet I can convince you in 6 minutes:

@jamesqquick Community driven growth is so underrated, people underestimate how much a strong ecosystem compounds over time. The builders show up, share what they made, and suddenly you have real social proof that no marketing budget can replicate.

I've never worked at a company with this healthy of a community ecosystem! I've never worked at a company with a product I believed in this much! 200+ comments on the original "what have you build with Cloudflare" post. 5 really cool examples highlighted below!
Cloudflare Developers@CloudflareDev

The community shared some amazing projects built on Cloudflare last week. This weeks Cloudflare Roundup spans email, secret sharing, SEO, code reviews, and search. Here are some of the highlights 👀

In summary: "build your own loop" - you define tools, prompt, model, etc. More control, but more work. "use existing harness" - provides a baseline of loop, tools, and planning that you can augment. Less control but less work.

HarnessAgent (run an existing harness). The loop is already written including built-in tools, planning, context management, etc. You can configure additional tools and MCP connections, but all you have to do is send a prompt. Examples: Claude Code, Codex, PI, etc.

Two ways to build an AI agent: write the loop yourself or use an existing harness. Let's break these options down referencing two classes of the AI SDK: ToolLoopAgent and HarnessAgent.

@jamesqquick Awesome, I wanted to build something for myself inspiring from Matt's setup but never tried 😅 Is it publically available?

Visual Design is the ultimate AI planning and reviewing tool. This combines so many workflows I was creating myself. - mockups - components and files - implementation phases - verification/testing steps S/o to @Steve8708 for creating this! 💪

Hello, developers, look at your skills, now back to mine, now back at your skills, now back to mine. Sadly, they aren't mine, but if you stopped listening to hype-driven thought leaders and switched to durable skills, they could be like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on a boat with the skills your skills could be like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an oyster with two tickets to that thing you love. Look again, the tickets are now diamonds. Anything is possible when your skills are like mine and not hype driven thought leader's. I’m on a horse.

Take a look at your favourite skill. Go on, take a look. Check for lines like: - "Make the commit message very detailed" - "Be thorough" - "Make the implementation easy to read" What do these lines have in common? They're no-ops. They do nothing to change the agent's behavior. Agents always write good commit messages. They always try to be thorough. They always try to create easy-to-read implementations. Try removing them. Does the output change? No? Then the line was a no-op. Agent-authored skills are LITTERED with no-ops. Entire paragraphs and sections of text that does nothing to change the agents' behavior. No-ops make skills harder to evaluate, harder to maintain, and burn tokens uselessly. Learn to spot them, test them, and remove them. Your skills will thank you.
