What are your tips for saving money while also being effective with AI?

@ChaiWithJai @jamesqquick I'd run `wrangler deploy` myself and see the stdout! What do you get when you deploy manually? Still the agent should be able to figure it out, but I wonder what the stdout is so we can improve the error message for humans/agents

Debugging code is much harder when you're using AI because... Today, I'm going to investigate this Cloudflare issue (Wrangler CLI) with Node 25. The first thing I plan to do is visit the repo: github.com/cloudflare/wor… and then start digging in. @Jilles @jamesqquick what would you do if you saw these logs from your coding agent?

🏆 If I had to give one dev product an award for the best free tier, I'd easily have to give that to @auth0 !! I've been using them in production for a solid 7yrs with @RequestNowApp and haven't entered my payment info yet. and yes...we do have users (~9K) , but the free tier is up to 25K. I believe I'm grandfathered into a plan they don't offer anymore

@jamesqquick ok. I'm playing with WorkersAI and R2 storage. One question, when you have time. Can I call gpt-image-2 from Worker AI. Documentation is not clear "Job failed: Error: AiError: 5007: No such model openai/gpt-image-2 or task" developers.cloudflare.com/ai/models/open…

A lot of images for $0 on R2 and no egress fees.

@jamesqquick Makes sense. I’ve been wanting to work on a Shopify app that uses their MCP to get info about a store. Basically an AI chatbot that can answer everything

I feel like semantic search is one of the most important parts of MCP that doesn't get talked about very often...

@BertosonHunter Basically for an MCP to be worthwhile (specifically with search) it has to have semantic search. That feels like the real power comes when you can ask for data for example without having to use the exact name of the product.
