The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) advocates for subsidized treatments like SSRIs or anti-androgens for those with unwanted attractions. That only stops those willing though.

I worked on these issues once upon a time, back when the State Department still had an office dealing with trafficking in persons. The truth is that local ICAC police units are overwhelmed with the sheer volume of CSAM sharing cases. You've got to remember that every one of these dots is a case that needs to be thoroughly investigated. You can't get a search warrant based on an IP address alone. The cops wind up having to triage cases, focusing on people who are sharing unique material or extremely objectionable material. And that's not even counting the problems posed by no-log VPNs. The cops also have to worry about breaking up much more sophisticated rings on TOR, as well as monitoring certain communication apps for this kind of stuff. It's an overwhelming task, and the sad truth is that these people will spread their garbage on every possible app and website, from the easiest to trace to the most privacy conscious. It's an epidemic. But the costs of trying to simply arrest all these people are too high. At some point you've got to look into other ways to address what is quickly becoming a societal disease. By the way - this also isn't a problem that can be solved by just throwing more money at police forces. What we really need to do is figure out what actually makes these pedos tick, and devise methods to create safe and viable offramps for them before they enter the dark world of CSAM trading.

🚨 I still can't get over this: Tim Tebow showed Congress a map with 338,000+ unique U.S. IP addresses trading/sharing child sexual abuse material (kids under 12) in just 6 months. And it barely made the news because it wasn't in the Epstein files? We NEED Action on this!
