Does it seem that Claude got dumber in the last week or so? Finding way more errors and Codex is ripping apart every plan it generates.

I really like your experimentation, so I say this with lots of gentle kindness: I think you’re getting push back because the solution feels both spiritually void (my kingdom for another moment soothing my babies to sleep!) and practically wrong (co-regulation is more than auditory, and unless this thing can flush oxytocin through my baby’s system and pop a boob in its mouth it ain’t gonna work—and if we’re at the point I’m getting a text notification you bet I’ve already been awoken by the shrieking.) Sleep deprivation doesn’t make you a better parent, except it does, in that babies need parents, in particular moms, at night and have for always. I’m in SF and feel this looming trend toward dehumanizing via technology some of our most precious human experiences—pregnancy, motherhood, parenting—and it feels like the sign of a world where adults can buy their way into approximations of these experiences and buy their way out of the hard parts. None of which sits totally right with me. tl;dr cry detection and smart soothing are clever, but when you mix in AI mommy songs you’ll get bucketed into dystopian nightmare tech
