In the middle of the night, Regime forces entered O Connell St and dismantled the protest.

I’ve nothing but respect for the Irish people who protested for 5 days straight and those that supported them with food water ect.
Another section of Irish society found out that the government hates them just as much as the rest of us.
We seen the left, right, rural and city folks all come together as one. This is a massive step in the right direction.

You do realise that the price of haulage, shipping, food production, etc. impacts every single citizen in society? When you buy food at the supermarket, the bottom line of the producer, distributor, etc. all contributes to the price. If they're screwed over, you're screwed over.

And there you have it. The fuel protests were never intended to result in support for ordinary people. The farmers and hauliers were in it for themselves only and didn’t give a shit about inconveniencing the rest of us to achieve their aims.

Trust me Ireland, you do not want to go the way of America when it comes to food. When I went to Ireland I started dropping weight immediately although my diet didn't change. People who come here from Europe start gaining weight quickly. Our food is toxic. Don't be like us. We have started out own large garden, canning, finding local farmers for meat etc. because of how bad it is. Get it under control now or there will likely be no going back.
