My 1st Labour NEC - as the 1st BAME @SocialistSocs rep. Pleased NEC agreed to revive BAME Labour. Working with the current BAME Labour Exec, we'll have a functioning Socialist Society to ensure the voice of BAME members is heard & that BAME Labour members can fully participate.

Moments like this tells you about leadership. The Tories and Reform would have rushed us into the conflict in the Middle East without thinking through the consequences it would have for British people. My Labour government will always make decisions in the national interest.

Another new expanded nursery for Southall! Parents at Wolf Fields Primary will save money on childcare because of this Labour government. Labour has already halved childcare costs, but we're not stopping until every child in Ealing Southall gets the best start in life.

Abolishing the two child cap has just become law, meaning 3,660 children here in Ealing Southall will be lifted out of poverty. That's the difference a Labour Government makes - warmer homes, fuller cupboards and giving every child the best possible start in life.

Southall station needs a closer bus stop! So I’m campaigning for more buses in Southall and a new stop across the road from the station. And the good news is that Ealing Council have now agreed to look at the options for this. More updates soon!
