A majority of GenZ and Millennial Americans believe it is "racist" for school teachers to expect black children to speak standard English.

This finding holds regardless of race. Over half of white, hispanic, black and asian GenZ and Millennials believe it is "racist" for teachers to expect black children to speak proper English.

These data come from the American Political Perspectives Survey (APPS) collected from August 3, 2025, to September 26, 2025, with 3,000 American adults who speak English. All respondents needed to pass (1) attention checks, (2) a duplication check, (3) time-to-completion checks, (4) fraud and (5) bot-identification checks. We gradually transitioned from a democratic welfare state to full-on race communism between the 1960s and today for two reasons:
1. The beneficiaries of our race laws went from 10 percent of the population to a majority in places like NYC and soon a majority nationally.
2. We bent a lot of rules to give black Americans a one-time boost thinking they’d catch up. That didn’t happen, so now the choice is either go back to colorblindness and the rule of law anyway even though it means unequal outcomes, or let the government keep meddling more and more in the name of racial equity.
