Intrigued to see how the stadium looks tonight. Just doesn’t sit right with me that USOC tickets for the Round of 32 are being sold for over $50 each. The fans want to support the Cup but not for that price against a USL team while we’re in bad form. What does everyone think?

@aseper The Presidents Trophy team losing to the Sharks is up there as well on the pain meter. This is nothing in comparison.

This generation of Blues fans may have just had their Yzerman moment.

@ThomasDrance 2019 Blues say otherwise. Obviously an outlier but even with ROR’s great run that postseason, he was not a superstar player that could break games open himself, nor was anyone else on that team.

You don’t win a Cup without a superstar player that has the ability to break games and pull it out of the fire when the odds get long. You have to swing the bat, even at the risk of taking a step back short term. That’s the lesson of the Tkachuk trade. And of Mikko Rantanen.

@chriskerber @stlCITYsc So the current season already starts in late February. The playoffs go until December. In this new format they’re talking of taking a winter break in parts of December/January, so there really isn’t that much of a difference than now except not playing during summer

This was yesterday. I can’t say how much I hate this idea. I’m not privy to what it means to the business but it’s a game changer for me if it happens. As a STH now, this would make me think of absolutely cancelling. @stlCITYsc

@JakeSilco12 As a long time Blues and Phish fan, this was the greatest night of my life. And I’m married with 3 kids and my wife and kids are aware and accept this. Lol. I watched the game from a nearby brewery and walked into Chaifetz a couple minutes before they came out for set 2. Amazing

Probably the best Sports/Phish clash up that I can think of was the night the Blues won the Stanley with Phish playing in St. Louis. Also the Moma and SF winning the World Series in 2014 at BGCA. Am I missing any others?

@BKSportsTalk My wife and I usually sit in aisle seats across from each other. The wife is the one that usually ends up in the middle in those situations and I don’t blame the woman for not wanting the middle seat. I’m not offering to take it so why should she?

Is it weird for a married couple to sit in the aisle & window on a flight while a stranger sits in the middle seat?
