The Bengals added eight players to their roster (including Dexter Lawrence) in the 2026 NFL Draft. What grade would you give their draft class?

@BengalsCaptain That's been my biggest issue. Now isn't the time to get cute. Now is the time to bring in the players that will always be at the right place at the right time.

This is what I hoped we wouldn't see. If we're a guaranteed playoff team, Super Bowl contender, take the risks. Right now, we're trying to get back there.
I'm excited about the potential so far, but I know we're all going to be watching those players that were still on the board, vs what we picked. That scrutiny will increase this season.
I'm gonna cheer for 'em til my voice is lost and my head is pounding, and I hope this draft ends up one of their best ever.

@asinghoff99 @Cincinnati_Son @MoEgger Coaches don't have that much power in the draft process. Opinions and inside info could help add a plus to a guy already on the radar, but personnel isn't selecting a player they don't already believe in bc a coach has a friend.

Feels like Brian Parker surged the Bengals overall draft grade into B territory.
Little more opportunity to add potential with picks 221 & 226 next round.

@Cincinnati_Son @asinghoff99 @MoEgger Coaches aren't drafting these guys as much as the personnel dept is.
Coaches stating the type of player their looking for doesn't mean they're stuck with any particular names that get drafted.

@asinghoff99 @Cincinnati_Son @MoEgger That's basically how it's set up. Coaches relay what the want to run and the type of guy they like, and the personnel dept finds 'em.

@thealexiskraft If you're not in a relationship for the long run, you shouldn't be in it. Klay wasn't worth it for Megan, Megan wasn't worth it for Klay. Don't put celebrities on a pedestal.

@JoeGoodberry Which is what worries me about this draft. They had safe, solid picks that were plug and play and this seemed like the year more than ever that they should have been looking for that instead of the "we know more than the rest of the NFL" pick that Duke lives and dies by.

Colbie Young did nothing in college football, committed the same crime and the @Bengals took him in the 4th
Neither deserved to be drafted but the Bengals choice was so much worse

@WhoDey_UK Obviously have no idea what the full story is, but morally I would have concerns. We went very quickly from drafting captains to this. Hummmmm.

@John__Sheeran Burton had both football and personal character concerns. Young doesn't have football character concerns (from what I know from The Beast anyway), and the personal character concerns look Mixon-esque. We'll see. I'm more worried about his lack of production

The bengals have not earned the benefit of the doubt when it comes to evaluating character. It’s going to take time following jermaine burton.
That said, without condoning what allegedly occurred and was then redacted, i don’t vibe with comparing colbie young to burton.
The overall positive assessments of him as a teammate aside, he deserves his chance to make the most of this opportunity before folks immediately label him.

@Cincinnati_Son @MoEgger NFL coaches can take a player from a 7 to an 8, 9 to a 10. They have a max benefit of plus 1 for a player.
