@KyleDChurch I don't want my young children taught in other than English. I want them to master the English language as a priority. Sure teach them about Maori culture and language in Maori studies but stop the pigeon English, Maorification that occurs now

oh so it turns out it wasn't just ONE book with te reo removed for "education" reasons, but an almost blanket ban directed by Erica Stanford against the use of Māori words in ALL new readers? People need to stop taking ANY explanation or action of this government at face value

I just put it to you, as soon as you start to have relative standards not absolute standards that's a real problem for NZ. This is the 5th scandal. there's something seriously wrong with the PM's management of his team & I don't understand why he hasn't got it gripped up.
