@SynthPotato @MrHooboMaster Ironically enough, Nintendo has the EXACT same problem that Pearl Abyss has. They know how to craft worlds, engageful systems and characters, but they have zero clue how to write a cohesive story. I think the Nintendo Bias is very real here.

I’ll always find it strange how bad writing is seen as a massive issue for Crimson Desert but Breath of the Wild and TOTK both get away with having the most basic, generic writing and boring storytelling. Why do some games get a pass for focusing on gameplay & others don’t?

@SynthPotato For me the actual plot part of those games are weak but the greater emphasis on the stories is building a world as a whole and I think that is where Zelda always succeeds and Crimson Desert fails. Even when Zelda’s plot is boring, I’m still interested watching the cutscenes

@aurukel I also mean like. if they are running their gpu hard/maxxing it out of course it'll get hot. But that's their own fault. There are tons of ways to deal with that and still have an amazing gaming performance. example people generating way more frames than their monitors can show
