The Yoshi's Island map screen theme is remarkably similar to the song "Anywhere Is" by Irish singer Enya. Both of these were composed around 1994 and released in 1995, meaning that neither of them could have been influenced by each other and this is an astounding coincidence.

@UltraJDude This was more or less my takeaway when I first tried it on release. I think the ability to move rendering of Mode 7 to the gpu is very cool, same with the audio sampling stuff, but they do not need to tamper with ruining the style of the game.

If it happens, I'd like it to be animated and essentially a retelling of the Metroid manga with up-to-date lore, like Raven Beak and the Chozo language. As well as not be afraid to get a bit more mature overall. I don't mean rated R, but more mature storytelling and characters.

@TomFawkes That's the GBA games for ya. also several games had a memory reset code on startup if you held A+B+START+SELECT+L+R (there is a splash screen warning before it erases anything). The Super Mario Advance games used that.
