@powerbottomdad1 East Asia especially has never been big on meat consumption because rice farming is so labor intensive. It's only in the past few decades that the Chinese started eating meat regularly on a societal scale, but it's predominantly pork and chicken.

They’re basically dual nationalities so would still have their original citizenship from their own country.
