Regarding the shutdown. Here are some facts. 1. The clean CR is the Biden budget that democrats voted for during the Biden admin. 2. Using fungible monies, and changing language, democrats are trying to fund illegal alien health care. 3. They are also trying to fund weird programs like trans plays in Guatemala. 4. It will increase our deficit by 1.5 trillion. 5. The clean CR was a good faith move by republicans. If the republicans had their way, they would’ve put forth a reduced budget CR. 6. Problems with ACA are systemic. It has led to increased fees and less services, it should be fixed not have money thrown at it. 7. Funds in an emergency fund cannot be used to pay for SNAP. 8. The ACA assistance was made for COVID, we aren’t remotely in a COVID pandemic and the reason for the extra assistance is gone. 9. The ballroom is being paid for by private funds. Public money is not being used to pay for it. 10. Nearly everything democrats are telling you is a lie. It’s a sad thing that the democratic party has become so radicalized, dishonest, and dysfunctional.

One compromise/ reform that could end the standoff of DHS funding: ICE agents henceforth won’t wear masks in any situation where other law enforcement officers don’t wear masks, courthouses, the streets of our cites, etc. Masks are reserved for the lawless zone along the border where the cartels dominate.

Am conservative. I think what you choose to do is wrong, but importantly, it must be your choice. It’s your choice. I don’t believe in treating you badly because of it. The left has fully embraced a group of people that will either burn you alive or throw you off of buildings. Wish you had understood what conservatism was, what it wasn’t, rather than be indoctrinated at an institutional level.
