I escorted a friend to the hospital yesterday for a medical check-up, only to be told that the doctor in charge of his case had relocated abroad with his family. They left Nigeria for the UK just three days ago. What's even more crazier is that the first doctor handling his case relocated abroad just two weeks ago, and the replacement doctor assigned to him also left three days ago. Honestly, this growing trend of mass relocation among Nigerian doctors and nurses should genuinely worry us oo.
