Proof the Earth is not flat: Taking southern hemisphere flights to measuring shadows at different latitudes. Or simply observing the arch-angle measurements of the sun and moon across the sky... or seeing the large reddish sun halfway below the horizon. FEers say that the sun is only about ~400 miles or so above us, above the firmament. So I should be able to "drive out" from under it when I travel 200+ miles in an afternoon. But I can observe differently. I also have a friend who worked at McMurdo in Antarctica and witnessed the 24-hour sun. This would not be possible in the FE sky model.
