@thomasforth When the first wave came the initial cases seemed to match people who might have gone on a ski hol in Italy or on business abroad. Maybe first stage of the UK epidemic affected affluent people for it then to spread to the urban areas where the virus naturally flourishes after?

I saw it this morning. Diagnosed cases of Covid-19 by local authority in England (I just looked at the North). So I got all the data together to reproduce this map, the proposed popular interpretation of which I have reproduced in MS Paint.
