The people claiming delimitation is punishing southern states for performing better will you accept if we start applying this logic at individual level? Should the vote of a well educated man count more than that of uneducated?

Based on this story, consider this hypothesis: - If Pakistan had democracy, Israel-US would not be able to start this war against Iran. Here is the string of dominoes, tell me if any link is weak: > If Pakistan did not have a mutual defence pact with Saudi Arabia, Saudis would not be confident about a regional war. > If Saudis were not confident, theyd not privately back the war when talking to Trump admin (WSJ) - If Saudis were not onboard with the war, it would've made it difficult for Trump to go through with it even if Netanyahu pushed it. - Without the most critical regional ally, there would be no war - or postponed till better conditions developed. Hence, this crucial alliance that ties everything together and placates Saudi Arabia enough to go with the plan, had it not been in place, the war could have been a non starter. Which means, the person who signed this pact tipped a domino that has lead us here. No Pakistani democratically elected govt would sign this pact. So, am I incorrect in saying that if Pakistan had democracy (or if Imran Khan's government was never toppled) we would have no war with Iran? No oil shortages. No global crisis.
Murtaza Hussain@MazMHussain

NEW: Drop Site has obtained classified documents about a Saudi-Pakistan mutual defense agreement that has now been triggered in the context of the war on Iran. The agreement has gone has through numerous revisions over the years and now been expanded to commit Pakistan "to support the armed forces of [Saudi Arabia] in dealing with any threat that affects its security, safety, sovereignty, territorial integrity and interests." Pakistan has recently deployed large numbers of aircraft and equipment to Saudi Arabia as the war involving Iran, Israel and the GCC states drags on. At the same time, Islamabad is attempting to mediate a way out of a conflict that has become a critical risk to its own security. dropsitenews.com/p/leaked-saudi…

@i3JPRAiBZlTBYSb What if the right wing starts doing the same with all the judges who visited JNU events or any other left-leaning organisation events?

It’s time to break RSS. At every level. Like Arvind Kejriwal did yesterday at Delhi high court telling a judge right on her face that being a judge she has attended RSS event 4 times. If we don’t break RSS this nation will be broken into pieces.

The most dishonest Indians playing this situation up, like India doesn’t have all Pakistani music and hundreds of content creators banned from access in India. Pakistan banned Indian music from being aired on radio and TV in retaliation to a similar move in India in 2019 (after the Pulwama attack)
Rishap Vats@VatsRishap

Haven’t Pakistani regulators heard of Ambassador Menon’s “women’s caucus” yet? Expecting the said collective to take this up in very strong terms, in the name of our most recent and renewed pledge towards South Asian solidarity.

@_amitbehere @WhateverVishal In western countries Hindus are minorities. They never defend their fellow Hindus caught in illicit activities with such vigour. This quality is specific to Islam because of ummah and brotherhood.

I will give you one reason. When you are oppressed as a minority you tend to stick together in solidarity. Even about the bad stuff. You can hardly expect Hindus of Bangladesh and Pakistan to talk about casteism in Hinduism. They got much bigger problems, existential ones. Same logic here. Doesn't make it right but explains why.

@Nishant_Bliss And we should wish for Pakistan to do better as well. If they are busy making their country better, they will have less time and resources for terrorism. And in turn, it will motivate us to be better than them.

Stop Comparing, Stop Finding Pleasure in Pakistan’s Downfall India has come a long way since 1947, and let’s be real, compared to Pakistan, we are at least 10x ahead today. Whether it’s education, infrastructure, healthcare, technology, or overall growth, the gap is very clear. So constantly comparing ourselves with Pakistan, or finding fun in their struggles, just doesn’t make sense anymore. It doesn’t add any value, it doesn’t push us forward. If anything, we should now be looking at countries like Singapore, South Korea, and Japan. These are the benchmarks. Even observing the United States gives direction, even if we can’t directly compare. Because growth comes from looking up, not looking down. India doesn’t need validation anymore. It’s time to move on, raise our standards, and think bigger.

@Paimon_goetia Nehru’s model was normal compared to other visionaries like LKY. LKY himself said that Nehru adopted a wrong model. That is why all growth in India is mediocre nothing exponential. It took us 50 years to get our literacy rate over 50%.

@MovieEndorser Weirdest thing about interstellar is that they need to go down to the planets to research. Like couldn’t they just figure out the composition of planets from orbits by spectrography and rule out the possibility of habitability for humans? It’s stupid. Great scenes though.

@TheChrisLambert Matt Damon part was the lamest part of Interstellar. Like what was he trying to achieve? Did he want to go home? He could have gone with cooper. Did he want to continue the mission? He could have told them the truth and they would continue the mission.

PHM wanted to start in space rather than spend the first 45 min on Earth. So we get the ridiculous amnesia gimmick that allowed them to break that 45 minutes into 5 minute chunks revealed throughout the film. Interstellar’s gimmick is the “ghost”. It gives the film a mystery MacGuffin that keeps audiences interested throughout the set up and journey to the planets when the movie finally has its pay off scenes. Both try their hardest to emotionally manipulate the audience. PHM is more obvious about it. Interstellar is also obvious about it but has a bit more tact. Both have a lot of filler. The Matt Damon sequence is the best thing between either film. PHM has the stronger cinematography and doesn’t just flash a cool image for 2 seconds then cut away (a big pet peeve of mine with Nolan; he never lingers on a great shot). PHM is cheesier and more by the numbers. But also actually develops its characters and relationships in a way that makes them feel fully three dimensional. Interstellar does not do that. It’s something Nolan struggles with, in general. I find both have kind of weird endings that feel more like shrugs than a meaningful conclusion. Alright. I’ve made my pick. Interstellar wins. As fun as Rocky is and as much as I enjoyed the dynamic between the two, the Matt Damon stuff is just that much more interesting than like 99% of PHM. The build up of Damon’s character, the surprise, the payoff. I don’t think PHM had a moment that came anywhere close to that.

Cracking Low Level Design Interviews is easy. You just need to learn few important design patterns and how to use them in any system. Here are 5 MUST DO design patterns 1. Strategy – eliminate if-else chains, switch behavior at runtime 2. Factory – decouple object creation from business logic 3. Observer – event notifications without tight coupling 4. State – replace conditionals with state-driven behaviour 5. Singleton – controlled shared instance (used cautiously) Here are 5 more design patterns that will make you better 6. Builder – safely construct complex objects 7. Adapter – integrate incompatible or third-party interfaces 8. Facade – expose a clean API over messy subsystems 9. Command – encapsulate actions, enable undo and retry 10. Decorator – extend behavior without modifying existing classes Check my pinned post for the prep sources.

Pakistan’s PR being better is a boon for India. Nothing motivates Indians than lagging to Pakistanis. If Pakistanis present their cities as better (which they are not) Indians will be motivated to widen the gap between the two countries.
Swat Swag@Napoha_

An entire Indian generation is programmed to believe most Pakistanis go to bed hungry without finding a meal. This is delusional brainwashing. Islamabad is comparable to Chandigarh:a planned city with a grid layout. Delhi to Lahore. Both Pak cities trump Indian counterparts.

Rilee Rossouw compares IPL and PSL. 🏆 - Rilee Rossouw said, "IPL is a very long tournament, and PSL is a much more compact tournament where the competition is a lot more fierce. IPL obviously has the whole Bollywood backing it, so it's a lot more of a movie than actual cricket."

Any public space designer will tell you this is entry-level design nonsense. What could’ve been a vibrant public activity space is boxed in by tall, dead walls that feel unsafe and discourage people from using it. It should have been more open, active, and built for people, like in image below.

Why is the Iran War peace summit not happening in Delhi? A summit that's a defining moment in 21st century's geopolitics. 1) India is friends with Iran, America, Israel, entire GCC and Russia, and now China too. 2) India has huge interests in the region. Of all kinds. 3) India has a strong history of international leadership, right from the 1950s. 4) India has aligned with the US and done everything Trump demanded in trade terms. 5) India's stature, size and strength warrant it. So, what went wrong? Why did India lose this opportunity? Why is it absent from the game? All comments welcome.
