His Worship Senator @DavidColtart , the Mayor, on Tuesday met with Her Excellency Ms. Pamela Tremont, the United States Ambassador to Zimbabwe where they discussed investment and governance-related matters.
Senator Coltart informed Ambassador Tremont that the City adopted a Code of Ethics Policy this month as part of its initiative to improve local governance. He further noted that the City was in discussions with various investors in the United States for the establishment of Call Centres to contribute to employment creation.
Ambassador Tremont noted that 1,700 people are already employed through the American Call Centre system in Harare.
Senator Coltart emphasized that Bulawayo would be highly conducive for such investment, primarily due to its competitive rental rates.
Ambassador Tremont expressed the eagerness of American companies to invest in Bulawayo and Zimbabwe at large highlighting that she was going to be holding meetings with some Bulawayo companies based in the City.
The two also discussed issues relating to proposed plans to upgrade informal sector facilities and improving water resources in Bulawayo.
Senator Coltart affirmed that the City continues to work towards improving service delivery despite limited financial and material resources.

A new statue of liberation hero Joshua Nkomo has been installed in Maphisa, Matabeleland South, ahead of tomorrow’s Zimbabwe Independence Day celebrations, as Zimbabwe marks 46 years of independence. The main national celebrations will be held there.
I wonder how much it cost to build this statue.

@ZimbabweTraders @gabriel4eva @cozwva Unfortunately when you nolonger love that person everything becomes hard, so l dont blame her
English

@gabriel4eva @cozwva All depends on what you value in life, family, marriage or money?
I am sure she had access to all three when she was still married. She could have spent all her life with money, kids and husband under one roof.
Goes the question - what do you lose when you win
English

@gabriel4eva @cozwva No, she didn't. The funds are monitored and won't be misused, In fact Wicknell has control over them.

@Pachimoi1980 @SandileMakeba @zanupf_patriots Those things are a sign of poverty, they are used in poor areas of the world
English

@PTavex9277 @PitiKemal @Jamwanda2 Shopping mall is a single, large, climate-controlled building where stores face an interior walkway and a shopping centre is an open-air or "strip" format where store entrances face a shared parking lot. This is by structural definition

@bl38167 @Luther_Hove We may spend valuable time on an unimportant point! Am here for fun, lol! Class dismissed
English

@SentinelGuru @Luther_Hove I assume you are civilised, can you point out my mistake if possible ?
English

@bl38167 @Luther_Hove Like the good doctor you also need to reread the caption , but given the problems in the country, please breath and move on
English

@TendayiG2023 @Luther_Hove Do you know ow how many people actually farm in zim ,you should travel around the country ,l once worked for am NGO that donated maize ,there is a lot you haven't seen in rural area
English

@bl38167 @Luther_Hove It’s opposite, urban people are most vulnerable because they don’t farm, they don’t own water sources, are not formally employed&need rent.Poverty affects urban people more than rural people. Manure is fertilizer. Seeds are available in their own gardens.
English

@begottensun This is a terrible, distasteful post ,a man just lost his entire family and you are using it to drive a political motion
English

@SentinelGuru @Luther_Hove I understand that English is not our mother but this is basic English, those are population percentages of people living under 3 dollars a day ,49,2 of Zimbabwe population is living under 3 dollars a day ,do you understand ,the caption is correct
English

@Luther_Hove Going by the data you provided, the 9th poorest is Vanuatu!! Rephrase your thesis!
English

@Pamberinezim @Luther_Hove Are you retarded 😒 😑 ,can read that again ,this time use ypur brain and try to say it out loud
English

@Luther_Hove You’re reading this wrong. Idiot. It’s the 9th LEAST poor
English

@TendayiG2023 @Luther_Hove Dont justify bullshit ,people in rural areas are suffering, thats were donations are going ,they are the most vulnerable, they are not schools in some areas ,water is scarce in some areas no electricity, without money to buy seeds or fertilisers ,what should they eat ?
English

@Luther_Hove Extreme poverty defined as living on less than $3/day. I doubt in Africa $3 is poverty because most people stay in rural areas not urban areas and don’t need extra accommodation, water etc.
