Exactly what I am jsit writing on my blog. Nigerians hardly ever see beyond the surface of things . In what planet can it be right for military to deploy soldiers inside our nation ot protect their land even during dispute ? Wike’s indecorous approach aside , he is right on the larger issue and we should not be praising the military for essentially putting themselves above civilian authority . It is disgusting

Nigerians are so funny, and I’m shocked that people are actually praising the officer. Yet, the same people would complain and cry if any military personnel punished civilians unjustly. You can dislike Wike or even hate his family, but at least, be bold enough to be objective. The naval officers have no reason whatsoever to be on land, whether it belongs to a former naval staff or not. Moreover, protecting their boss’s land is not part of their job description. Lastly, no military order supersede the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. Let’s always call things as they truly are.
