@LorcanaHabibi @Mattyloons Judge @EDMsnob or someone of the same caliber should be at these events. They’ll catch everything. I’m surprised how good judging is for some DLCs and not others.

THE LASTING DAMAGE OF A “CHEAT” AT THE FIRST BRAZIL DLC! Worlds invites should be earned with skill and INTEGRITY. It’s already abysmal that the World Champion does not get an invite to Continentals. This is the previous World Champion… should they not be able to defend their title? I hate to glaze but when that same champ keeps performing, making top cut in almost every event, always getting close, and then finally, when he is one win away in the last round, he loses to a player who was caught on camera earlier that day “cheating”… it really is tragic. I understand you cannot always prove intent. Mistakes happen, and I do not think prizing should be stripped from someone over one situation. However, a Worlds invite should be held to a different standard. That is where the best of the best are supposed to meet. A Worlds invite should not just be about event placement, it should also represent competitive integrity. Frederico ending up with a booster box prize instead of a Golden Mickey… Him/DKP were directly impacted by that loss, and when the difference is that massive, “here’s a box” feels like a terrible consolation prize. At the very least, they should be properly compensated and invite retroactively passed down. If there is documented cheating, or even a major competitive blunder that directly impacted the result, that Worlds invite should be voided and passed down accordingly. Not because of hate. Not because of bias. Because consistency matters. This is what puts Ravensburger and tournament organizers in such an awkward position. Either they were overly harsh and specifically targeted Clement for the angle shot incident in Australia by banning him from Worlds, or they stay consistent and apply that same standard here. You cannot punish one player for a documented competitive issue and then look the other way when it happens somewhere else just because the situation is inconvenient. I am not going to sit here and argue whether the double ink was intentional or not. As an Amber Steel player, I know a lot of decisions run through your head in those moments. But this looked like a very simple hand. The extra ink directly contributed to the win, and the sequence was fast, clean, and immediate. There was not much hesitation there to strongly sell simple forgetfulness. - he went back and flipped the ink … paused and inked again fast …. Change of pace, body language - counting and situation all suspicious …. Keep Lorcana safe, judges … lore guides … whatever they call those spectators with authority - lock in !!!!…2 stream judges spectating and nothing called out ?!? Maybe let the chat/casters be able to engage a judge call to prevent these mistakes from having lasting effects. But bottom line, damage is done! If integrity matters, then the Worlds invite should be voided. Otherwise punishments stop being about fairness and start looking like cherry-picking and selective enforcement. #cheating #lorcana #TCG

@damanekstcg Thanks for the information. I can see how it makes those 2 match ups easier, but then you suffer a bit more against blurple and mirror. I created Eddie’s list. My buddies Josh and Darian also made top 32 in Melbourne similar to your updated set 11 list caught my eye that’s all :)

@bobjackson_DPT Daisy feels still needed against Blue Green and Blue Yellow. It’s also good because of 4 willpower so it’s hard to clear whole board after UTS Eddie inspired me to my CCQ list and from that time I’m testing similar lists

@damanekstcg I know Donald is good and integral. No need to convenience me on that :) I’m wondering your experiences in the tournament with 1 drop Daisy. Also, did you draw inspiration from Eddie’s top 8 Richmond list or did you come up with your list on your own testing?

@bobjackson_DPT I assume u meant Donald Duck? I really like him with tree so I can draw more units and utilize them with cost reduction. It also helps to find Tramp/UTS with Rhinos/Della which is crucial for my strat. I don’t care that much about opp hand size cuz 1 good UTS combo typically wins

📍DLC MELBOURNE 🎉 Top 32 It has been an absolute privilege to be traveling around to chase my hobby and my dream. I have had a really rough runs lately that has made my confidence quite low. This year my goal was to Top 64 at a DLC to find my ground once again. I am beyond stoked and still in a slight disbelief to make top 32 with the matches I had. I am proud and happy for myself to finally make a top cut at a major tournament, and most importantly have the confidence once again. My grind does not stop here tho, as I am chasing for the Mickey and Worlds Entry!! Thanks to all the friends and family who sent me messages and kind words during the tournament, you have no idea how much it means to me! DLC Melbourne was a fever dream. All the boys in top cut and Dillon winning it all 🤩. 7-2-0 into 17th seed was going second in all 3 of my top cut games. Managed to dogde all the dogs mirrors i was looking to play. Check comments for the most disgusting game.

@r_m_bx I love Hades 5 in PS, but in Blurple it has felt more just Fine. It doesn’t really catch you up on board as the opponent should almost always let you draw 2 which is awkward when the deck is often playing from behind. Plays very poorly with Demona too
