@garrytan I don’t think so actually. I’m a CEO, and it’s shockingly hard to find the 5 hours of uninterrupted time it takes to set up an initial AI flow. It’s not hard to describe roughly what I have in mind and give feedback on it, but it’s really helpful to have someone else help build

@michael_kove Rookie mistake tbh. Turns out alignment researchers aren’t immune to misalignment. Got overconfident because this workflow had been working on my toy inbox for weeks. Real inboxes hit different.

Nothing humbles you like telling your OpenClaw “confirm before acting” and watching it speedrun deleting your inbox. I couldn’t stop it from my phone. I had to RUN to my Mac mini like I was defusing a bomb.

This weekend I had the honor being a lore guide at the @DisneyLorcana Challenge: Melbourne, serving as Deputy Head Judge and stream lead. After last year’s controversy, I expected to find a region that was underdeveloped and needed help. Instead, what I actually found is a world-class competitive scene with great players, dedicated tournament organizers, and judges who were enthusiastic, capable, welcoming, and truly embodying of the Disney spirit. I’ve traveled to every place where Lorcana has a realistic competitive scene, and Australia is as good or better than any of them. All they need is the recognition they have earned, and a vote of confidence that they belong on the world stage. I traveled over 7,000 miles to be here, but it felt just like home. had a great time at the @DisneyLorcana Challenge in Singapore! the common wisdom is that every competitive Judge should play in one tournament a year (ideally outside of your home region), just to stay sharp. So DLC Singapore was the perfect opportunity!

The most annoying thing about being eliminated via dice rolls and impossible topdecks is having to listen to people give "pointers" when there was literally nothing you could have done differently.

@francoisfleuret If we sort out continuous learning such that large models don’t just get a batch of snippet stew out of a blender, and read sources linearly, it may help with credibility assessment.

I find strange that during pre-training a model is not informed more clearly about the sources of data. We are really not helping it to differentiate the various voices in its head. Maybe we should use different *tokens* for the pre-train and the instruct fine-tuning.
