@Lou_Berney @ALA_Booklist Thanks. I assumed the date had to be wrong. (I'm enjoying it very much.)
English

@bookfella @ALA_Booklist It's coming out in November! That 2017 date is inaccurate. (Thanks for reviewing!)
English

@Lou_Berney I'm reviewing Double Barrel Bluff for @ALA_Booklist. I notice Goodreads has a 2017 publication date for the book. I'm assuming that's inaccurate, but can you please confirm? Many thanks.

Reviewing @nealstephenson's forthcoming Polostan for a review in @ALA_Booklist. I'd like to spend an hour or so inside this man's mind, just to see how he conceives his magnificent stories. (Cryptonomicon is a once-a-year read for me.)
English

@ChrisNashawaty I'm reviewing The Future Was Now for Booklist. (I also did your wonderful Caddyshack book.) I'm wondering if you could DM me; want to ask you a couple of questions re who you interviewed for the book (the e-galley doesn't contain that infornation). Thanks.

@JustSayRad Wilkerson's Caste isn't a novel. You repeatedly called it a novel on the air.

Reading @cjtudor's The Gathering for a Booklist review. Don't want to give away too much, but I will say I probably won't use a lunchbox anymore. See chapter 33.
English

What I especially like about this novel by @arrroberts is the circularity of its three-part structure. Once you've finished the book you want to start it again, to capture the nuances you missed in the first part because you hadn't read the second and third parts.

English

@arrroberts Very nice journey from "what the heck is he doing here?" to "oh, I see what he's doing."
English

I'm hardly ever on here anymore, but had to swing by to compliment @arrroberts on Purgatory Mount. A slice of brilliance, that. [I have a Bluesky code if you want to join us cool kids over there.]

@grady_hendrix interested in an invite code for the blue place? DM me if you are.

Read this book. Do it now.

Hey, for some reason The Devil Takes You Home is only $3.99 right now! No idea how long it’ll last. Get some! Tell your friends! That’s a lot of horror, mayhem, violence, monsters, and grief for less than a cup of bland coffee with a funky name. amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09N5R…

Picked up a used copy of @GillyMacmillan's The Perfect Girl. I haven't read all her books, but The Long Weekend, The Nanny, and To Tell You the Truth are first rate.

English

@bookfella So glad you enjoyed it! Masterpiece of imagination is spot on.
English

Well: Barbie. I don't think "brilliant" is too big a word. A masterpiece of imagination. @cinemaxwell, I can see why you kept going back.
