Someday I'm going to write the definitive history of board games and I'll call it SORRY/NOT SORRY and you can't stop me.

@Lou_Berney I'm reviewing Double Barrel Bluff for @ALA_Booklist. I notice Goodreads has a 2017 publication date for the book. I'm assuming that's inaccurate, but can you please confirm? Many thanks.

Reviewing @nealstephenson's forthcoming Polostan for a review in @ALA_Booklist. I'd like to spend an hour or so inside this man's mind, just to see how he conceives his magnificent stories. (Cryptonomicon is a once-a-year read for me.)

Reading @cjtudor's The Gathering for a Booklist review. Don't want to give away too much, but I will say I probably won't use a lunchbox anymore. See chapter 33.

What I especially like about this novel by @arrroberts is the circularity of its three-part structure. Once you've finished the book you want to start it again, to capture the nuances you missed in the first part because you hadn't read the second and third parts.

@arrroberts Very nice journey from "what the heck is he doing here?" to "oh, I see what he's doing."

I'm hardly ever on here anymore, but had to swing by to compliment @arrroberts on Purgatory Mount. A slice of brilliance, that. [I have a Bluesky code if you want to join us cool kids over there.]

Picked up a used copy of @GillyMacmillan's The Perfect Girl. I haven't read all her books, but The Long Weekend, The Nanny, and To Tell You the Truth are first rate.

Well: Barbie. I don't think "brilliant" is too big a word. A masterpiece of imagination. @cinemaxwell, I can see why you kept going back.
