On March 29, we celebrate Founders Day, the anniversary of the founding of the Knights of Columbus in 1882. On this day, the Connecticut legislature approved the charter for the organization Blessed Michael McGivney founded with a group of Catholic men in New Haven, who set out with a bold vision: to support one another in faith, protect families in times of need, and serve their communities with charity and unity. What began in a parish basement has grown into a global brotherhood, rooted in the same mission and values that inspired its founding. Founders Day isn’t just about looking back; it’s a reminder of what’s still possible when faith leads to action. Had the pleasure of making it to the WAMS Theater Department production of "The Misanthrope" this evening. The entire cast did a wonderful job with a challenging script. If you get a chance, come to WAMS to see it either tomorrow or Saturday at 7:00 PM.

Tonight, I took Maggie to see the WAMS middle school production of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown". The students did a great job with a very fun play!

Little did I realize that this would be the high water mark of my political career and it would all be over in 3 months time. Live and learn.

I had the honor of serving on the team for today's Exemplification of Patriotism in Norwich. 73 men joined the ranks of Sir Knights, including His Exelency, Bishop Reidy of the Diocese of Norwich. Also, today's ceremony was held in the presence of K of C Supreme Master McCusker.
