When asked about the governance issues in Near North District School Board, and when locally elected oversight will be restored, Doug Ford references an unrelated board which is not currently under supervision to justify the unilaterally imposed supervisor.

400 staff cut at the Ottawa Hospital due to the underfunding. There's no way those jobs were a waste. Ontario ignored the Ontario Hospital Association to increase funding. Here come the cuts. Just keeping up would mean adding 250 more staff, not cutting.

This is amazing. Nurse-to-patient ratios, which are being implemented in Man., B.C. and N.S., can save DOUBLE the money spent on hiring extra nurses.
B/c patients get well sooner and don't have to be readmitted when they're cared for properly.
