After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

🇺🇸 New Study from BPI: Frontier AI agents prefer bitcoin over stablecoins and other forms of money. BPI tested 36 models over 9000+ conversations, and the AIs overwhelmingly chose to use Bitcoin for their economic activity.

I'm at a Claude Code event right now. Everyone's complaint: Openclaw keeps shutting down. @calebhodges gave us all a markdown file that solves the common issues. Want it? Comment "openclaw" and I'll DM it to you.

As Larry Ellison $ORCL says, all AI models—ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Llama—are trained on the same publicly available internet data. It’s no surprise AI models are becoming commoditized. To reach peak value, models need to be trained on privately owned data. In this scenario, the most important moat is clear: proprietary data. A company with a ton of unique, exclusive data will capture the entire market.

The funny thing is, I support his pay package issues which were in the news lately (they were fairly agreed upon) and I'm a fan of SpaceX (good stuff). But my broad critique over the years is that Elon isn't an honest person. So much is manufactured and curated. It's obvious.

Different starting points. Same destination. Coinbase. Robinhood. Sports betting. Prediction markets. When currency is debased, everyone is a speculator. Hard work isn’t enough, you have to "predict" the weather. I won’t build that world for my kids. The future needs Bitcoin.

They threw a retirement party yesterday for someone who gave 35 years to the system, and while everyone was clapping I was silently calculating. I’m 39. If I follow that path, I’d have to work another 25-30 years just to “retire.” That thought alone made me sick. I refuse to be that guy 20 years in and still chained to the clock for another three decades just to get a cake and a handshake at the end. That’s why I chose Bitcoin. I’d rather fight for freedom now than die slowly inside a system that celebrates survival as success. I’m cutting the timeline in half. I’m breaking the script. I’m not ending my life with a retirement party I’m ending it with freedom of choice and Time. ⚡️

Exciting news for $XXI: $CEP will hold its shareholder vote to approve our business combination on December 3rd at 10:00 AM. If approved, we can close as early as next week, and begin our journey as a publicly company. Hope all $CEP shareholders vote. Exciting times ahead!

It’s been a while since we heard anything about the BTC strategic reserve. Or the US government possibly buying BTC. When something in the market gets very quiet, but you know it hasn’t gone away, it can be a good time to start paying attention. Here’s what I’ve started to watch for. Scott Bessent is a markets guy, a trader by nature. He knows the legislative route to purchase BTC is slow and very public, so it’s likely to get front-run, especially by other nations (I think legislation is very important for long-term reasons, and will eventually happen in some form, but this is solely about price and Bessent’s thinking). It’s not hard to imagine Bessent watching the recent BTC selloff with an opportunistic trader mindset. At some point, would it really be surprising to get a public statement along these lines? “Consistent with this administration’s stated goal of supporting US leadership in technology, the US Treasury has acquired…” Activity by the Exchange Stabilization Fund (ESF) is not disclosed in real-time; Treasury posts annual reports and monthly statements on its website. But as a practical matter, Bessent would certainly make a public statement on this long before it showed up in any disclosure. It’s been hard to forget him showing up for the opening of PubKey DC in the teeth of BTC’s current selloff.

The Treasury Secretary was at tonight's opening of PubKey DC. In this type of market, signals like this don't matter much. Eventually traders look back and realize it mattered.

The irony is that every time they feel strengthened by “being right” (about the price of bitcoin dropping), it strengthens me too. I think it’s the battle that I fought before bitcoin ever existed. I think it was all those times I was at the depths of hell silently begging for help. I know that I am one of the chosen few. I know that I am blessed. I’m starting to see why this BTC journey has went so seamlessly for me. I’m not like the others and I never want to be.

I don't expect anyone to congratulate me... but I took some profits I had from #bitcoin and paid off every cent of debt from my 81 year old family business. A commitment I made to my Mom and Dad. It took 30 years - I promised I would take care of it all. They are gone, I got them through life without anymore tragedies. I wish I could tell them I finished "MY assignment" - by the grace of God. I still have an outsized stack - but it was time. Mom would have said "GOOD JOB AMY"
