If Disney ever announces a live action The Princess and Frog, I need the right people involved and I want production to take their time. I don’t want a direct copy and paste. I don’t think a lot of people would want to see Tiana as a frog for most of the movie again. I still think whoever plays Tiana is a late Gen Z/early Gen Alpha. 😂

@julianmiflaco This, plus that darker Glen Keane version, supposedly closer in tone to Hunchback. The live-action film could be the perfect chance to lean into that more mature vibe, especially since the cartoony gags just don’t land the same in this format. Too bad Disney always plays it safe.

@julianmiflaco Same! It’s a brilliant adaptation of the climax of the original fairy tale. Honestly, with general audience demand driving things, it’ll probably stay super close to the original. There might be weird ass minor additions, though.

@c_mermark i just hope they dont make any drastic changes to the last 20 minutes of the film i just love that segment too much

this is such a hidden gem that i feel most people dont know about, i loveee the tangled that we got but the movie went through SO many changes and i wouldve loved to see this version

@julianmiflaco I imagine it sticking close to the original story beats and characters, just with a more grounded tone and deeper character exploration. Since Tangled is still pretty modern, that could be a good way to justify a remake and help it stand on its own, but I get what you mean!

@c_mermark i kind of dont want them to lean towards that vibe though... if it were a new production sure but since its a remake i want respect for the og. but yes i would love this movie to get a version some day!!
