@razeroboi @p1nkch4n This is simply not true. He never lets go of his past, he lets go of the idea that he is Josefumi or Kira. He still considers Holy his mom and her not being healed doesn't mean he forgot about her. He can't do anything because all the Rokakaka are gone.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n He let's go off his past hence why holy is not cured
English

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n Your only evidence of this symbolism is 1 page from Chapter 14. Yasuho tried to commit suicide, lives a shitty life, nearly dies multiple times and get molested. She is not a symbol of good fortune and never was.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n If basic symbolism isn't clear you then I'm sorry
English

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n Josuke comes to that conclusion separate from Karera, in which he decides to not be Josefumi or Kira. But unlike Karera, Josuke acknowledges his past and how his current identity is built upon it. Calling Holy his mom too is unlike Karera.

English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n She has a impact on josukes character development as she chooses to live in the present rather than the past or future
English

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n She does not guide people to good fortune. If this was Araki's intention, it'd be very clear. Yasuho in the series has been victim of misfortune after misfortune. Even Araki felt bad for her suffering.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n Yasuho is this figure that guides people to good fortune and she's also described as a goddess to tooru who guided him to a path

English

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n It's not a very good parallel considering Karera is super irrelevant to the plot and was only there to explain who Josefumi is. Besides that, she doesn't have much impact in the story and is never mentioned until Chapter 110 (her last appearance was chapter 55)
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n -Karen was friends with josefumi and stalked him same goes with tooru
-both yasuho and josuke embrace their past lover philosophies
English

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n Previously, Araki said Rock Humans could fall in love but as a rare occasion. Chapter 99 says Rock Humans can't go beyond give and take. I'm curious where you got the Yasuho representing good luck interpretation, because her entire character is misfortune.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n You misunderstood what I said. Yasuho represents fortune/good luck while tooru represents misfortune/bad luck hence why it makes sense for these two embodiments to be together and the "biology" didn't retcon anything it just shows how rock humans put survival over empathy
English

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n What?! In what way? This would only make sense if Toru was into Josuke and not Yasuho. They also don't parallel in anyway, since Toru was actually in a relationship unlike Karera.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n He's also meant to parallel karera who's love interest is josefumi
English

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n Rock Humans most definitely were retconned, read Chapter 99 and look at Chapter 46. Araki changed Rock Human biology to fit Toru's character. Also, you just changed your point from romance to fortune.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n Rock humans weren't retconned and it makes sense when the character who brings fortune is tied to the character who brings misfortune
English

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n JoJolion barely has themes of romance, it more has themes of belonging. Rock Humans during Wonder of U were retconned to creature's incapable of romance. Toru being in a relationship with Yasuho makes no sense expect to put some tension between him and Josuke.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n Its not forced at all it fits the theme of romance that is present in jojo especially with the rock humans.
English

@p1nkch4n I remember correcting a small misconception, in Part 6, the fan translation has him say "True Fate" and someone used it in an argument against me. So I pulled up the Japanese translation and found out it was a mistranslation lol. JoJowiki fixed it the moment I gave proof.
English

@monkegordo @p1nkch4n It's so strange how Araki introduced Tooru, I don't think any villain was introduced this late into the story.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n It's the technique he talks about using by making a random jobber bad guy instantly hateable without spending much time on the character, it's just he's using it for the "main bad guy" of the part that he pulled out of his ass at the last minute.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n Araki writing anything or anyone in part 8: Yasuho must be involved somehow.
English

@DarthMolgy @p1nkch4n I'm not talking about the act itself but how it fits with the story.
English

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n God forbid the villain does evil things?
