@razeroboi @p1nkch4n It's not a very good parallel considering Karera is super irrelevant to the plot and was only there to explain who Josefumi is. Besides that, she doesn't have much impact in the story and is never mentioned until Chapter 110 (her last appearance was chapter 55)

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n Previously, Araki said Rock Humans could fall in love but as a rare occasion. Chapter 99 says Rock Humans can't go beyond give and take. I'm curious where you got the Yasuho representing good luck interpretation, because her entire character is misfortune.

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n You misunderstood what I said. Yasuho represents fortune/good luck while tooru represents misfortune/bad luck hence why it makes sense for these two embodiments to be together and the "biology" didn't retcon anything it just shows how rock humans put survival over empathy

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n What?! In what way? This would only make sense if Toru was into Josuke and not Yasuho. They also don't parallel in anyway, since Toru was actually in a relationship unlike Karera.

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n Rock Humans most definitely were retconned, read Chapter 99 and look at Chapter 46. Araki changed Rock Human biology to fit Toru's character. Also, you just changed your point from romance to fortune.

@razeroboi @p1nkch4n JoJolion barely has themes of romance, it more has themes of belonging. Rock Humans during Wonder of U were retconned to creature's incapable of romance. Toru being in a relationship with Yasuho makes no sense expect to put some tension between him and Josuke.

@p1nkch4n I remember correcting a small misconception, in Part 6, the fan translation has him say "True Fate" and someone used it in an argument against me. So I pulled up the Japanese translation and found out it was a mistranslation lol. JoJowiki fixed it the moment I gave proof.

@catwarrior45 @p1nkch4n It's the technique he talks about using by making a random jobber bad guy instantly hateable without spending much time on the character, it's just he's using it for the "main bad guy" of the part that he pulled out of his ass at the last minute.

@moemojis I think JoJolion has Araki's flaws front and center. Retcons, inconsistent characterization, unnecessary arcs, etc. Even the first half of the story has these issues.

@kankysss @p1nkch4n It's crazy how Yasuho is even the reason Josuke meet the Higashikata family and started the whole story but is treated like a plot device the entire time. She has no development and is whatever Araki needs her to be. It sucks.

@jpetrella4 @p1nkch4n Araki was super involved with the artbook though, the render appears to be made specifically for JoJo A-Go-Go. But from my searching, the part 4 image is the only one with the full render.

this doesnt have that much basis since pretty much all official colourings colour his hair as white but i wonder if this was supposed to be him revealing his blonde roots to show that he wasn't afraid of being found anymore

@jpetrella4 @p1nkch4n So it seems JoJo A-Go-Go is the first appearance of the arrow being in the image. Which does use the render of the arrow head as seen here. So it does seem it was made after the fact. Interesting choice honestly.

@p1nkch4n Fun Fact: Araki didn't plan for Bites the Dust to reverse time, he just felt so much pain drawing Rohan dying that he gave Kira that ability.

kind of wish he actually permadied here. not just because i hate rohan but also because i think it wouldve been better to cement in how dangerous bites the dust is
