Seems Outlook has been down globally for multiple hours. Can't log in on desktop or web or app. And no word yet from @Outlook or @Microsoft. Did you guys fire the social media manager that should be reporting on global outages to keep users informed? Or perhaps haven't trained AI yet on how to do that? 😐

Train managers can turn reservations off to allow as many customers as possible to grab seats. This is a decision they don't take lightly and is very much an option to help the many rather than the few. In terms of talking to anyone else, you can raise a complaint with our Resolutions Team here: railhelp.co.uk/avantiwestcoas… They'd be happy to investigate this further. In the meantime, the train does typically thin out as it heads further south, so I would expect a seat to become available during the journey. - Miles

@AvantiWestCoast They haven’t been able to help, and just said there are no seats. I just think this is really bad when she has booked months in advance. I completely understand that there are disruptions but to wipe off the reserved seats isn’t fair. Can I talk to anyone else about this? Thanks

@chalkey92 Hi Charlotte. Unfortunately, it does look like the 10:43 is fully reserved tomorrow. You can still travel on this service by purchasing a flexible ticket at the station before boarding. I would advise heading to our unreserved carriage which will be coach C. - Kim
