If Peter Obi were from the South-South or the North-East, I honestly wouldn’t have a problem with him running however he wishes. But as it stands, he appears to be shaping the political direction of a region that has not held the presidency for over 50 years. If care is not taken, he could end up becoming the biggest obstacle to an Igbo presidency in this Fourth Republic.

Kwankwaso has 80% political influence in Kano, just in Kano. Seyi Makinde has 70% political influence in Oyo as the incumbent, just in Oyo State. I can't say the same about Rotimi Amaechi in Rivers, but he has good friendships all over the geopolitical zones of Nigeria, but those alliances can't give him 40%. Integrating with Kwankwaso or Seyi Makinde or Rotimi Amaechi, but neither Atiku nor Peter Obi, changes nothing in the geopolitical equation. Why think small when you can actually think big and win? Atiku and Peter Obi are the biggest alliance that can fight an incumbent and get a result.

I'm an Atiku supporter. Most of the people I roll with are supporting Atiku in ADC. I've never heard from a single one of them saying they'll go the other way when Obi or anyone else (except Atiku) gets the ticket. Everyone of them, with zero exceptions, wants Atiku to win the primary. But they also maintain that they'll vote for whoever emerges. This narrative is not true in any way, shape or form.
Agent Jake@Hitee_

When Obi gets the ADC ticket , I’m sure of one thing , at least 80% of the core Atiku supporters( online ) will go the other way .

Make una leave PO out of the current arrangement. I pray Atiku wins the primaries, Amaechi or Makinde picked as VP. I also pray PO stays in ADC and watches how everything plays out. After the 2027 elections, I wish PO leaves ADC and forms his own party, not to contest but to raise the next generation of Nigerian Leaders.

Dear sir @PeterObi, As at 12.28pm today, I noticed you are yet to post anything about the event of yesterday in Ibadan where the opposition figures came together and agreed they will be fielding a single candidate against the tyrant Tinubu in 2027. Interestingly, some of your core loyalists were involved in the organization of this epoch making event. I also noticed you didn’t really feature in most of the pictures but I saw you at location where you alighted from your tinted vehicle to greet the crowd of young people hailing you. That was great because that’s what a great leader should do. You have built bridges. You have built network from the south, east and the north. You have been a philanthropist. You have been an helper of many destinies just like your elder brother @atiku. Nothing else left to build except a nation to compliment your efforts of love for decades. You can only build individuals but with nation building, you would have built an army of people. Well done sir. I have quietly and closely observed your move since you came into the coalition and I can boldly say your followers have consistently followed your body language to behave in a manner that is not acceptable to people whose businesses, livelihood and hopes have been destroyed by the consequences of split votes of 2023. Instead of consolidating as opposition, we went separate ways on popularity contest and not for the presidency. Atiku Abubakar has always been your respected elder brother. A man you have so much respect for. You can not deny the fact that he has more administrative experience than you. He has been there. He understands the economic, political and security demography of the country more than you. Considering the bastardization of the entire political system of Nigeria, wanton destruction of our institutions, do you not think giving Atiku all you support to become President while you work closely with him is the best option available for now? Millions of your supporters have insulted your elder brother AA severally of which I know you did not send them but your body language and not consistently condemning some of their conducts online has further fueled your tacit approval of their behavior online. Even though you once referred to them as criminal elements but I think it is not enough. You have done well aligning with Atiku as a northerner with cult like follower-ship like Buhari. Play your game well and get what you want. I don’t think anyone from the south east has been able to penetrate the north the way you have done. Not even Mr Ben Obi. A region that can bring Obasanjo out of prison and make him president can make you anything you wish as long as you play your game right and earn their trust 100%. Philanthropic works you are doing in the north won’t make your earn their trust because you are doing it for power. MKO Abiola did it for almost 2 decades before he showed interest to become President. You started this after you showed interest to become President. Not a bad move at all but not enough to earn northern trust. In your own wisdom, kindly ensure you don’t fall for APC trap again by creating a 3 horse race. If you do not win and Tinubu comes back, no one will ever trust you again. Ejecting Tinubu from Aso Rock now is a priority and this move is bigger than any individual ambition. I wish you a very successful contest in the ADC primaries but in case Atiku wins, do all you call to support him to succeed and if you emerge , we will certainly support you but I want to appeal and advice that you lead the team to agree on making @atiku the consensus candidate of the opposition and you will be glad you did sir. Thank you sir

Atiku Abubakar is the only viable pathway to Peter Obi’s presidency. The more you sabotage Atiku’s chances, the further you push Peter Obi away from Aso Rock Villa. Facts are stubborn.

Tomorrow Atiku Abubakar people will tell me "but Jack it's your Obidients that insult people" Without any provocation this full is dragging Peter Obi and if I start nobody can hold me again ooooo I have restrained myself for so long with no attacks on anyone because we want peace but this is triggering For the records; HE Peter Obi didn't use the airport where this video was taken; He came via the road from Lagos as he was billed to speak at Ife yesterday morning before coming to Ibadan He arrived early even people these other leaders came to the venue How was the event yesterday "all about Atiku" please?? Obidients were at the centre of the planning and execution of the event and even still smuggled some of you into the plane to be able to attend the event Enough of this nonsense! I'm calling on the leaders of the Atiku team to caution some of these e-rats and clout chasers in your team to stop attacking Peter Obi now! Stop triggering me please 🙏🙏🙏 Hmmmmmmmmm, I won't stop if I start again ooooo I have a lot to say oooo but for the sake of peace keeping quiet! Please y'all should stop already
OGBUAGU@Tony_Ogbuagu

Peter Obi is very disrespectful, always wants to come in when everyone else is already seated to draw optics but everyone can now see that yesterday’s meeting was all about Atiku Abubakar.

I noticed that you no longer post pictures of PO, especially, during handshakes. That's a good place to start. Next, is to stop your supporters from hallucinating about you, and PO having a joint ticket. That ship has sailed a long time ago. That ain't gonna happen! Additionally, you need to retire from active politics. Be an elderstates man. That should be your role in the next dispensation. Adieu, Baba!

Jayman my brother…. Please don’t generalise. That individual doesn’t speak for all Obidients. Also you understand that Obi has no control over the Obidients. He’s just the chosen candidate at the moment. People like Donald Duke can benefit from the Obidients if he decides to run. That how the movement is. It’s not an Obi controlled movement. I know AA boys know this but agenda must agend

Atiku Abubakar@atiku

At today’s National Opposition Summit in Ibadan, Oyo State, we spoke with one voice, fearless, and unmistakable: the time has come to forge a united opposition, bound by purpose and driven by the sacred duty to defend and sustain our democracy. This is not a choice; it is an obligation we owe to Nigeria and to generations yet unborn. I extend my profound gratitude to our gracious Chief Host, Governor @seyimakinde, and to the resilient and warm-hearted people of Oyo State for providing the ground upon which this historic resolve has been rekindled. Oyo state has a history of being present when the politics of Nigeria is to be defined. -AA

After all said and done the best ticket to unseat Tinubu is Atiku/Obi, but with Obi exploring other things then Atiku too can explore other things , this brings Makinde into the equation. Can Makinde bring votes ? The reality is his strength is just Oyo but because a Yoruba man is president it will be difficult for him to thrive , the Yorubas cannot trade presidency for VP. Another angle is finance , yes as sitting Governor he can bring good financing but we must learn from history, Okowa brought financing but could not even win the state he Governs for us. Makinde choice may also trigger a negative domino effect in SE and SS that the ADC is poised to take. I think there must be rethink .
