What she said is all actually true. But it’s not personal to Ukraine. The mistake Biden made that Trump will not is that he did not demand that Europeans tote the largest share of the load. Had there been a more reasonable effort from the Europeans, Americans would not likely have minded helping. It is unrealistic to expect the US to ride to the rescue every time there is a military conflict in Europe. The US must look to its own people first. As we expect Ukrainians to do with Ukraine. In addition, the US handles all kinds of conflicts around the world that others do not help with. Should China/Taiwan blow up, Europeans won’t be sending money or troops. It will be up to the US. Same with Iran. A wealthy continent like Europe must step up and defend itself.
