Conservation has two halves. The first looks like conservation: public lands, migration corridors, water rights. The second might not look like conservation at all: data centers, immigration, infrastructure. Immigration, for example, contributes to sprawl, habitat and farmland loss, water strain, and numerous other second and third-order issues. It is just as important to fight conservation issues in the second half. You may not be able to sell it to donors, but you can sell it to your conscience and your children.

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar No I have no issue because I can buy a toaster at goodwill. I will not take the exception to the rule as the rule. Clearly, that is an extreme outlier and while some people make that choice. No one forces them to buy a “smart” toaster. I do have issues with Usury in other forms.

@cluelesswiiuser @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar Notice how you have no issue with unelected, unpopular, sociopathic financial oligarchs slapping subscription services on a toaster oven to bleed the proles dry & deprive them of their natural rights by forcing them into destitution and debt slavery. In fact, you say “let them”🤡

Do you think it’s just like a weird, random accident that 99% of the people with appropriate skillsets do not believe in Marxism? You don’t think that correlation says anything at all about Marxism itself?
Yves St. Nihil 🏭📕@NihilNothings

It's unfortunate that Marxism found appeal with the theatre kids first rather than the STEM kids who'd have the necessary skillset in advancing the productive forces for the transition towards socialism and the endgame of communism.

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar So I guess, to take it back, what is evil? To deprive someone of their natural rights. We may speak to them as life, liberty, and the pursuit of [property]. Essentially, a person’s ability to be a person. Everything about communism is an attempt to restrain and control all 3.

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar What right does anyone have to start 15-55m citizens? How’s that in the governments interests? How about the holodomor? It’s another example of the champagne socialist distaste for the actual Proles, ending in a pseudo genocide. Real, if you’re Ukrainian.

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar Second, let’s simmer with Crash Out accusations. Third, all of the charts you consult are referring to relative population count, which is a valid measure. It’s also important to bring up that the low accepted estimates are that 15m people starved to death. 55m o the high side

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar First. India man… I don’t know what’s going on there. Weird place. Best I can understand is they have a very different perspective on the value of human life than we do. It’s a tough comparison either way.

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar It is effective for the same reason Islam is effective: it has no bounds. No moral limits in pursuit of the goal. That’s why Mao preached for contradiction! Because he was an unscrupulous murder who only wanted (needed) to be right, and would redefine “right” to meet his needs.

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar So you’re right, that is not a switch. It’s an ideology made, specifically designed for and around, lies. It only takes, it is made by those who take, or lie, who survive as parasites. It despises the workers while calling on them to rise up, to be the gore that gums up the cogs

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar Now that’s not to say there weren’t successes, like the Soviet space program. But these outliers prove the rule. That’s why china switched, to a system that works, assuming you want to actually generate growth but have no specific respect for individual rights.

@RevoAmericana @JDStokes79 @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar Furthermore, that is not what Cuba, Soviet countries, or China experienced. We know this via millions of firsthand accounts and famously Yeltsin’s visit to a random supermarket. Instead, the stagnation started immediately and was only stayed until the death of communism.

@JDStokes79 @RevoAmericana @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar that’s just the thing about “internal contradictions”. We all recognize that it’s just an opportunistic authoritarian state, nothing more. But in a state where everything is built on the capstone of the CCP being “communist”, you can either afford to be honest or alive. Not both

@RevoAmericana @cluelesswiiuser @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar "China has never abandoned Maoism" The only way to maintain this belief is to constantly redefine "Maoism" as needed so it corresponds to current CCP policy and/or stated philosophy. The radical changes over the past half century can't just be ignored (by an honest person).

@ParentiSoundSys @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar Well I'm sure that no one could ever meet your definition of a communist, and that true communism has "never been tried" I see people who would disinherit my children for generations and I don't need to know the ideological differences. Weather, Antifa, Piker, all the same to me

@cluelesswiiuser @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar You seriously believe there are _communists_ waiting somewhere in the wings of the upper echelons of the Democratic Party? The neolib perspective promoted in places like Bluesky & Facebook is fundamentally reactionary, these are platforms owned & run by and for arch capitalists.

@ParentiSoundSys @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar Tech pretends to cater to Trump, but when his term is done, there will just be X and there will be a massive attempt to crush it. Everyone else will cave to the communists. And this will all go into the memory hole.

@ParentiSoundSys @ProlixR6 @PalmyrPar I'm glad you could find one social media platform that isn't supportive of it. Musk was labeled a Nazi for allowing free speech on this platform. Harris is just dumb and progressive, not a commie, but we both know there are people who lurk just behind waiting to give it a try.

Daily Roman Updates
Daily Roman Updates@UpdatingOnRome·
Over the last 72 hours, my account has been hit with over 100,000 anti-Roman attacks by Carthaginians trying to throttle my pro-Rome posts and suppress Daily Roman Updates. Every time I post about the glory of the Eternal City or the victories of our legions, hordes of Hannibal-loving Phoenician sympathizers mass-report and shadowban me. This is blatant Punic tyranny. If you’re still loyal to SPQR and the Senate & People of Rome, drop a single ave! below so I know the algorithm hasn’t completely sacrificed me to Moloch.

@RevoAmericana @ProlixR6 It's clear that everything human must have wiggle room, but it was more likely that Mao used this dogma of contradiction to better justify switching direction mid stride, than to truly follow the doctrine he taught. Opportunity over Ideology. Just like any politician, IMO

@RevoAmericana @ProlixR6 So at what point does internal contradiction become a break from the accepted norms? If there are internal contradictions, why have struggle sessions? Seems like an easy justification but not a thing that was / is practiced.
