W/O the use of memes, I would find it hard to give a desired tone to a certain message. Ie; if I was to text you “Got busy. Can’t see you tonight.” That might come across sharp or rude. But paired with the right GIF, that message might come across differently #EXSM3989

Memes have given everyone a new way to express themselves. They give a way to express tone in a message, even without saying a word, that everyone can understand. #EXSM3989

Just watched Julie Logan’s TEDx Talk on the Language Of GIF’s. Nice to hear someone else say they hardly respond with text anymore, mostly GIF’s. And that is the kind of energy I can get behind. Less words! MOAR GIFS! #EXSM3989
