Merlin builds the autopilot software that lets one pilot fly what used to take two — or zero pilots eventually. The hard part isn't the AI, it's the FAA-grade certification that takes 3-5 years to build, and Merlin is years ahead of anyone else trying. The contracts are signed, the customers are real (USAF, USSOCOM), and the market is pricing it like none of that will translate into revenue.

NOTUS is reporting that senior administration officials have held discussions with major AI labs - including OpenAI - about the possibility of those labs giving the government equity stakes by voluntarily ceding shares. I just realized how small of a training run GPT-5.5 was compared to what's online today my guess is that GPT-5.5 is ~5T and OpenAI is also training at NVFP4 like Nvidia (Nemotron 3 Ultra) and we know they trained it on their GB200 Abilene cluster, which had ~112k GPUs since Dec/Jan then base GPT-5.5 is only a ~16 day training run + maybe 2 months of post now imagine a 90 day training run with ~300k GB200
