Bharat Dynamics Limited will set up two new manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad (Ibrahimpatnam) and Jhansi, with production expected to begin in FY 2026-27. The Hyderabad unit will include advanced assembly lines, infra for new weapon systems, and specialised testing facilities such as rocket motor and warhead testing. The Jhansi facility, part of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Corridor, will focus on propellants, grad rockets, and in-house R&D for energetics.

Kaiga Nuclear Power Plant, Karnataka Units 5 and 6 has achieved a major milestone by recording the highest-ever monthly concreting in a PHWR project in India, with 26,700 cubic metres completed in a single month. The project involves 2 × 700 MW Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs) and this achievement highlights strong execution through advanced infrastructure, precise planning, and efficient coordination. With plans to add a 120 Cum/hr batching plant, the project is now set for faster construction progress in the upcoming phases.
