Without Q-Tip there is no Andre 3000, Pharrell, Mobb Deep, Dilla, Kanye, and so many more. They were all inspired or assisted by him in some form. Most of the ones still living will tell you that themselves. Q-Tip deserves all his flowers for his contributions to hip-hop.

@GrantPaulsen people forget we had a very similar situation with Ian Desmond and Rizzo let him walk because he was a subpar SS and not worth top of market rates. I CJ and his advisors look at this as a chance to be the highest paid 2nd baseman, a perennial AS, and not a demotion
