Pace inflation is a hell of a drug. Wilt’s 50.4 PPG season is one of the most amazing volume seasons ever, but on a per-75 possession basis it ranks 135th all time at 28.5 points per 75. A reminder that raw per-game stats and possession-based stats tell different stories.

I am about to unveil an app where ppl can enter their big boards (2011-2022) and analytically have them graded. As well as submit big boards between 2021 and 2025 for the official consensus (provided they also submit proof board was published prior to draft date of w/e year)

my data goes back to 1955, so not quite "All Time" but nobody prior to then would be in the running for this.
Per-game stats were so inflated back in the 60s/70s. Wilt's 50ppg 1962 season was 28.5 pts per 75 possessions (estimated). Inflated by a crazy pace and playing 48+ minutes per game.

@craftedNBA Of course teams could tank, but it would be to tank out of the playoffs. The bad teams would cease to exist because there's no incentive to truly suck. And whoever gets that #1 pick almost certainly wouldn't be there again the next year. Have the teams fight for #1!
