At the Substack, I wanted to write on why so many people feel the way they do about OKC despite it not matching reality, if that matters, and how that will feel in time. It's a folk tale because those stories are often myths. But they also carry with them something real in the moment that shapes us.

Pascal Siakam recorded more falls on his jump-shot last season than any non-guard Myself & @samfolkk on how he makes the floor an advantage - talking biomechanics, SF%, drawing more aggressive closeouts, transition non-costs, & longevity This is good: youtu.be/gfj45i4b9jw

@C2_Cooper What i love about Caitlin and her work, is that there could be national coverage on something as random as how players best like potatoes. Roasted? French Fries? Mash? And she will have an entire analysis of this exact topic somehow through the lens of the Pacers 18months ago.

Broadcasts just said no one talks about the effects of falling in transition. I did. Siakam had one of the fastest fall durations in the NBA when I recorded this. Basically didn’t cost the Pacers anything. SGA had one of the longest.

Just a whole bunch of talk about what makes Siakam such a unique player - falling upward. Like/Comment/Subscribe - no paywall! Read: patreon.com/posts/how-pasc… Watch: youtu.be/gfj45i4b9jw You won't find this type of deep dive anywhere else!
