@crierstar i hadn’t heard of the vanishing half, but maybe ion & oedipus rex for topics on identity, self-revelation and belonging. open water seems lyrical & reflective so try philoctetes !! kinda underrated but it deals with isolation, pain & masculinity. tons of emotional introspection

@requieminsilver i took it as part of the reason why she seeks power! i didn’t know about the dialect thing though..that’s interesting. Btw, have you read many classics? i’m trying to get into them but i don’t know where to start🤝

@crierstar howeverrr, i do recall that she intentionally utilised one of the english dialects that’s considered somewhat more working class in the UK? or smth like that. thought it made for some interesting class commentary but idk how important it ended up being
