Governor Seyi Makinde has responded to comments suggesting that a Muslim should be the next governor of Oyo State. Is the governor hinting that his successor might be a Christian? Do you think religious affiliation should determine who becomes the next governor? In my opinion, it is becoming clear that Seyi Makinde lacks political experience. He was only fortunate to become governor of Oyo State, because no astute politician would make such a statement publicly. What are your thoughts?

Okay, let me tell you what's going on behind the scene in the Obidient movement 😂. Fasten your seat belt 😜 Since I joined one of their WhatsApp groups (I actually joined that WhatsApp group few months, but I needed to keep quiet for long so that it will be impossible to remove me), I’ve been seeing what is really going on inside the Obidient camp. Forget all the fine things they post online, things are not as smooth as they make it look. You remember when Kenneth Okonkwo left and said Peter Obi is not the kind of leader he wants to follow? That situation actually explains a lot. From what is happening, it looks like Obi is not really the one leading the movement. It’s the Obidients that are influencing his decisions, telling him what to do and how to move. And most of their decisions are emotional, which is affecting his political direction. Some experienced politicians noticed this and reached out to Obi to advise him to take control and not allow that kind of influence. But at that time, he stayed loyal to the group and didn’t act on that advice. That was part of what led to people like Kenneth Okonkwo leaving. Then came the crisis in the Labour Party. Obi was expected to step in and help resolve the issue, especially with the Abure faction. But some people around him discouraged that, telling him things like he is now the leader of the party and doesn’t need to align with certain structures. Eventually, they were also part of those who pushed him toward the African Democratic Congress. Now, it seems Obi himself has realized that joining ADC at this time may not have been the best move. At this point, he has started pulling back from those same people. He is no longer taking their advice like before. Some people within ADC have also spoken to him, telling him that a leader should not allow others to control his decisions like that. Because of this shift, there is now tension. The people who used to be close to him feel sidelined and disrespected. Before, he used to move around with them for consultations, but now he doesn’t. That change is not sitting well with them. So even though online they still act united, behind the scenes there are cracks. Some Obidients are even questioning those who advised him to join ADC in the first place. Right now, things are not stable within the movement. There is internal disagreement, and it’s becoming more obvious. Whether it will hold together long term is something we will all have to wait and see. But I don't see Obidient movement beyond 2027.

I’m not in a good mood today. I for don share one expo give you. But just know that there is a serious issue going on between Peter Obi and the so-called Obidient leadership, especially those names I mentioned yesterday.

Peter G. Obi is moving on. Peter, you've let yourself down. Do you really believe that deceiving us will bring you to Aso Rock? You may have found some success in 2023, but over time, people have seen through your facade. You put on an act in public, carrying bags for others while negatively commenting about your wife—suggesting you wouldn't mind if she were unfaithful. My friend, it's time to face reality; your political career is over. Focus on finding a new partner and managing your finances. Becoming the president of Nigeria is simply not in your future. Best of luck. @PeterObi @ADCVanguard_ @OfficialPDPNig @NgLabour @APGA Vote president @officialABAT come 2027.

“I know the President’s vision and mission. I understand what the President was trying to achieve. The President removed subsidy and freed up money for the Nigerian Governors. The question is what have the Governors done with it? It is not the responsibility of Governors to be delivering primary healthcare and local infrastructure.” — Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar @YusufTuggar APC Governorship aspirant today on Channels TV Sunrise Daily

A friend of my family stayed back in Adamawa after NYSC. We were all from the same uni and graduated the same year. My wife and I got married a year before them. Each time we talked on the phone, we tried to encourage them to come back to the South but the husband always gets angry anytime that topic comes up. He said something one day and I told my wife we should stop talking about them relocating again. We call on birthdays, extend greetings and that's all. Recently, the wife called my wife, women's talk. I asked about Oga and the wife gave the phone to him, it was a video call so we saw each other. When I returned the phone, I went to the bathroom and I cried! These guys are suffering!!! I called the guy last month and once again, I tried to convince him to come down to South to get closer to his family, and also allow the children to get used to the culture and know their relatives. I was surprised that he agreed this time. We agreed on Osogbo. He was convinced that things would work in 2008 when we went to the North but the reality in 2026 is not the same. The family will be moving back this weekend. I pray for journey mercy. The reality is glaring, this government has failed. There is no sane person who will continue to defend this calamity.
