Obi has moved on, and for those left behind, the most strategic move would be to hide the pain of that departure. There is a glaring contradiction in trying to use his glory to win an election while being unable to actually support him. It is a hollow strategy to believe in his ability to draw votes but refuse to let him lead the way. The ADC has become a dead party, lacking the pulse and structure needed to compete. For those still clinging to it, the reality is clear: the earlier you join the APC or NDC, the better your chances of remaining politically relevant.
Dele Momodu Ovation@DeleMomodu

REALITY CHECKS: "As the 2027 election approaches, it's good to give a highlight of the major conditions required for any candidate to be declared winner of the election according to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. (1) Candidates must get the majority of the votes from the entire country. (2) Candidate must get at least 25% from at least 24/36 states plus the FCT. In 2023 for example, INEC declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu the winner of the election for securing 36.7% of the total votes and 25% from 29 states. Followed by Atiku Abubakar who secured 29.9% of the votes and got 25% from 21 states. And then Peter Obi who came third with 26.1% of the total votes and 25% from 15 states. What does that mean? Tinubu was declared winner not only because of the number of votes, but also because of the 25% rule, which he secured majority from Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, Ogun, Oyo, Niger, Kogi, Benue, Jigawa, Zamfara, Borno and Rivers. On the other hand, Atiku Abubakar won states like Osun, Yobe, Gombe, Adamawa, Katsina, Bauchi, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Taraba, Bayelsa and Akwa-Ibom bringing it to a total of 12 states. Similarly, Peter Obi won states like Enugu, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, Imo, Delta, Cross-River, Edo, Lagos, FCT, Plateau and Nassarawa bringing it to a total of 12 states with none from North-West and North-East. Kwankwaso dominated Kano State with more than a million votes. Based on this highlights, who do you think will win the 2027 presidential election?

If, at the end of the day, the man who claimed he renewed Nigerians’ hope tactically removes the only person he fears from running, then we will know who would have won in 2027 if someone was not too afraid of the man who defeated him on his own street.

🔴Registration Of NDC Raises Concerns As ADA Seeks Legal Action Against INEC. A wave of controversy has erupted following the registration of the Senator Dickson-led National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the All Democratic Alliance (ADA) raises concerns over the legitimacy of the process. Promoters of the ADA claim that the NDC was registered through fraudulent means that bypassed the guidelines established by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). During appearances on Arise News Morning Show and Trust TV, Dr Umar Ardo, a key figure in the ADA, criticised INEC for allegedly deviating from its procedures by registering a political party that he claims did not go through the official screening process. Ardo revealed that initially, 171 political associations expressed interest in registration, but only 14 were shortlisted by INEC. On September 15, 2025, INEC published the list of 14 associations that advanced to the next stage, which involves verification of their offices nationwide. Of the 14 groups, only eight proceeded to the verification stage on INEC’s portal. Ardo asserted that the ADA adhered to all requirements and actively participated in the process, but was denied registration. He said: “It is shocking that a political association that did not submit an application, was not shortlisted among the 14, and did not make the final eight, suddenly appeared with a registration certificate.” Ardo rejected INEC’s explanation that the NDC was registered on the basis of a court order, describing the claim as untenable. He argued that the due process of law would require proper filings and INEC’s participation in court proceedings. “For a court to give such an order, there must have been submissions, and INEC must have been served and represented. We intend to obtain Certified True Copies of the court processes from the Federal High Court in Lokoja to understand what transpired,” he added. In contrast, he alleged that the NDC was absent throughout the stages. He expressed disbelief that a political association that did not apply, was not shortlisted, and did not make the final cut, suddenly obtained a registration certificate. Ardo contested INEC’s explanation that the NDC was registered pursuant to a court order, arguing that proper judicial procedures would require INEC’s participation in court proceedings. Oga, politics is bigger than you. If you join politics today and behave like this, you’ll end up like Atiku Abubakar -always running and always losing. There is something called time and chance. Rabiu Kwankwaso understands that there’s a time to run, a time to strategise, and a time to build alliances. Don’t behave like Atiku and run into the bus.

Another person has just left ADC, House of Reps Hon. @hon_okonkwo. This is becoming one of the fastest waves of defection to a new party in Nigeria’s history. If your father, mother, friend, or loved one is in the opposition and you don’t want them wasting resources in a lifeless party, advise them to move to NDC. Blood is life. Peter Obi and Kwankwaso, the lifeline of ADC, have moved. Refuse to listen to me, and “had I known” will be the last words of a fool.

Some people treat socio-political analysis like a popularity contest, thinking you need to please the crowd by avoiding a factual breakdown. But when you ignore the facts to stay popular, you only end up looking foolish when reality hits. Yesterday, I told you the ADC would be forgotten. U see people done dey resign just by mere signal that OK dey commot? What has always sustained Atiku - the support of sitting governors - is gone; the ADC has zero governorships. His only two lifelines, Obi and Kwankwaso, have finally seen him for who he is. It’s as if they didn’t read what his former master wrote about him being a "cunning man" before they joined him in the ADC. Now, they’ve suddenly realized the truth and are leaving. Even Sowore could beat Atiku now, if not for the agitation of our Northern brothers who are desperate for power to return to the North. They mistakenly believe Atiku can solve the insecurity crisis - something even a General like Buhari couldn’t manage. Beyond that sentiment, the ADC is finished; Atiku has no real base, only a circle of corrupt, old-guard politicians.

This is an analysis, not a popularity contest. You can't expect me to say Kwankwaso won't leave the ADC just to make people like you happy, only for him to move later anyway. You don’t solve math with emotion or by trying to please the crowd. I am an analyst, not a motivational speaker. Stripping away the sentiment, the reality is clear: Kwankwaso is leaving.

Mr. Daniel, I don't have anything against you. You are a good man. No one blames you for trying to survive the current economic hardship; we are all feeling it. But there is a line between surviving and selling out. You have a choice: you can be remembered like Ajuri Ngelale, who carried himself with a quiet, professional steel and stayed focused on his employer’s defense, or you can become the next Femi Adesina, who alienated the public with insensitive rhetoric - "your land or your head." Take a cue from Ngelale; he understood that a spokesperson’s job is to defend the principal, not to engage in pointless social media bickering and "small talk." Power is a revolving door. The four years you thought would last forever are already almost gone, and the next (if it comes) will move even faster. Elevate your engagement, delegate the petty squabbles to your staff, and focus on the dignity of your office. Your legacy depends on it. Good luck and remain blessed.

If I wanted to cash out, do you honestly think Obi would pay better than Atiku or APC? No. What drives me is integrity, track record… and the hope for a better Nigeria. If Tinubu had truly done well, by now you would be saying he paid me because of the way I would have been speaking about him. If you really want to see his record, step into the streets and ask everyday Nigerians how their lives have been for the past three years. For your information, I’ve never met Obi; and I don’t even wish to. I don’t follow people because of what I can gain personally… I stand for what benefits all of us as a country. Because at the end of the day, this country is bigger than any one man.

This is my problem with you, Mr. Bwala - always changing. It doesn’t speak well of you. If you knew all these things about my classes, why were you desperately looking for my number through your PA when you couldn’t face your mate in London and wanted me to help with damage control? You see why I refused to give him my number and opted for email instead - because I know you can easily deny a voice conversation. Continue to mark attendance in my classes. One day, your eyes will open. Thank you.
D. H Bwala@BwalaDaniel

@DonAzag The new thing the administration has achieved is exposing your master peter obi and his quadruple party alliance. You run a propaganda media class for Peter Obi and other masters that you only know. I hope this makes it to your propaganda class. Nomadic mentality.

Immediately Obi and Kwankwaso said they were leaving on Monday, you quickly switched back to “primaries” just to create a talking point that Obi didn’t want to face primaries - the same primaries he had been pushing for. You rushed out a timetable for a party that is still battling a court case… a party that INEC even refused to attend its convention. You people really think this is a child’s play? Alright… continue. Now they’ve even shifted the departure timetable to today. Let the cries of those who wanted to reap from other men’s reputation and widespread support be louder.

Mummy Regina Akume picked form for Senate in Benue State. If not for the nature of human desires, one would expect that at this stage of her life, she would be resting at home, surrounded by her grandchildren, and enjoying the fruits of her years of service. Having served as a Member of the House of Representatives, a former First Lady of her state, and now the wife of the current Secretary to the Government of the Federation, one might wonder what more she seeks to achieve. However, it is often said that human wants are insatiable. For some, service, ambition, and the desire to contribute never truly come to an end.
