I talk a lot about the value of getting into the right rooms.
Here’s my plan to help you get into them:
Something amazing happens when you bring together ambitious big thinkers into a single room.
Unfortunately, access to these rooms is not evenly distributed.
I want to do my part to fix that.
In 2024 and beyond, I’m making it my mission to open up access to these rooms so that everyone can benefit from them the way I have.
What that means: Live events in cities around the world, at the lowest possible cost (ideally free or close to it).
The exact format of these events is TBD, but I have lot of ideas:
- On stage fireside chat
- Small group breakouts (depth)
- Large group gathering (breadth)
- Optional dinners/events

For around $200 you can get:
- CRM
- Automated follow up built
- Landing pages of all kinds
- Newsletters
- Pre built content for messaging
- Built in dialer and texting
This is about all you need to get into the 1% of those who are paid to generate business
… i.e. those in CRE
However, most people I talk to prefer to spend MUCH more on multiple platforms
It’s the work associated with change that holds many back I think
People would rather spend $900 then $200 in order to avoid disruption

Someone please explain the psychology of not putting an exclusively listed property on the market and everywhere it could be seen?
Why is it common practice among "alphabet" brokers to send to only their email list and nowhere else?
I'd love to know from a buyers perspective, does this make you "want" the deal more?
Is that how you would want your property marketed?
Genuinely curious.
P.S. Not to mention there is no price. I kinda get this but still. Everyone asks for the whisper price anyway.

@realEstateTrent Insurance is insane. 100% insurance increases in non-coastal markets - close to 1k per unit on vintage renewals, utilities steadily increase and payroll is over 1.5k per unit in every major market. Almost every deal has a decreasing NOI

Marketing has had the most change of any industry in the past 20 years as an innovation through social and a disrupter of mainstream media.
I don’t think finance has changed in the same way. 🤷🏼♀️
