Chris's next book, the sixth in his John Smith series, is coming on April 30th! This is one of those books I happily pre-order, then buy the actual book. I mostly read KU and Royal Road, but Chris, I'll jump through hoops to support because his books never miss. This is my favorite series of Tullbanes, I keep saying "can't wait" so I guess I better find a new thing.... Maybe just wooooo a.co/d/07GuQtYl

This may be one of the hardest comparisons you could throw out. I see them as being different positions. My starting 5 is still Magic, MJ, LeBron, Timmy, Wilt My second 5 Steph, Kobe, Bird, Malone, Dream I waffle on Bird/KD and Malone/Bill Russell. Shaq has a lot of argument here as well. But back to the original take, I really can't make a decision head to head. Timmy was the cornerstone of a franchise for 3 generations of basketball. Very very rare

@28thSooner @cubert9 @FastbreakHoops5 It’s just using context, stats, your eyes, common sense. Not hard. I suppose Tim Duncan is better all time than Hakeem because he has 3 more championships?

@Justintohoops @KZA76_NBAstats I'm sure that with the hamstring injury there is a constant fear of reinjuring it right now. I'm very impressed with Dub and his resilience.

Asked Chet Holmgren what people don’t see when a player is recovering from a long-term injury and how he feels Jalen Williams handled it this season: “The thing most people don’t see is the way injuries impact daily life. I think a lot of people think when a player is injured he’s just out shopping somewhere and enjoying life and just kicking their feet up, but that’s really not the case. A lot of times with injuries, it really hampers going through your daily routine. I wasn’t there for Dub’s surgery, but I’m sure he didn’t enjoy it. And then having to go all summer and figure out how to work and improve without even being able to use his shooting hand, it takes determination and creativity. And then to have a back-to-back hamstring thing, it’s extremely frustrating. There are a lot of emotions involved, but I think he has handled it just about as well as anybody could.”

@claudeai @AnthropicAI as a product manager, I need deeper integration between Claude AI chat sessions within a project so that I can more easily keep work flows on separate project modules going, but have awareness when I start a new chat session. I need to be able to work on multiple devices in different chat sessions, so I can be efficient while I'm on the road using mobile and away from my desk where I have full integration.

If your wealth tax was enacted it would be like the Joker throwing a torch on a big stack of money. The entire nation's wealth would evaporate as the markets entirely collapse from billionaires having to sell off all their stock to cover these bills. So next year, it hits again. Then the following year. Because you're not taxing gains, you're taxing fake figures that mean nothing until someone cashes out their stock. I've read Bezos has something around $10-12b in actual cash reserves. That could possibly be taxed because its actual liquid capital and probably wouldn't have the impact of forcing him to convert stock to liquid. But even that would be a stretch. He's already paid tax on it. What is the justification? Other than someone else has and you want? Where is the line? You folks say "no kings" then unilaterally want to cease assets. Pick one. Are there no kings and instead just dictators?

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

@iCkEdMeL CHP had endless opportunity to get this stopped. Some departments can do PIT others can't. I can't believe with all the jurisdiction they went through nobody could get authorized. Conclusion - Something else going on here?

I'd trade many times that for a soldier's life I said this earlier - first, from a tactical standpoint, that equipment is replaceable, even if its expensive. From a human standpoint, thats who we ARE in the US. Or at least, it is who we should be. The second that the US values a piece of equipment more than a soldier's life, we've lost.

Watching this CHP police chase live on YouTube is insane. Real police departments put this to an end. I can't believe Cali allows this type of thing to go on. $8 gas and hordes of resources wasted. Morons

Sga was part of the bills and the culture that built the guys around him. He's a leader. Sga sat a lot earlier while the team improved. This year speaks volumes to who he is as a player. Thunder was one of the most injured teams in the league, kept winning. Set a record for most starting line up changes I think. One guy was the anchor. Luka was so good his team dumped him for draft picks and the all NBA injury guy named AD that they dumped again.

I would rather flush 10 aircraft than one American life. Want tactical justification? The training and investment in that pilot outweighs anything we can build. These guys are THAT skilled. Beyond that? Screw everyone that says we shouldn't go get our guy. Thats just how it is. We value life. You don't. Thats the difference. The day we walk off that hill is the day we're not the USA

@Arrogance_0024 The US Navy alone has more aircraft than the French and Polish Air Force combined. It would be far more costly for you to go save your downed soldier than us. Which is why you’re on the internet bitching about what we did. Stop viewing us through your lens. We aren’t the same.

The "leave no man behind" doctrine is actually a strategic weakness disguised as a virtue. Name one other military on earth that destroys 6 aircraft and fights a ground battle inside a sovereign nation to recover one pilot. You can't. Because no other military confuses tactical sentimentality with strategic logic. Soldiers serve the mission. The mission doesn't serve the soldier. The US has now established that Iran can shoot down an F-15, then watch America spend $300M and expose Delta Force trying to prove it didn't happen. That's not military doctrine. That's politics with weapons. A military that cannot accept the risk of loss cannot win wars. The US hasn't won one since 1945.
Daniel Foubert 🇵🇱🇫🇷@Arrogance_0024

Lose all this to rescue 1 pilot and call it your greatest military success of all time.

@NotAnOKCFan Yes, this is a MUST win for OKC. We have to go in and finish this game by half time. We need to polish things up, get the starters working well together and get them off the floor

@GAltringham I'll accept this. Dredd was AMAZING. If I could point to any one thing I was hoping there would be a proper sequel to, it was his Dredd movie. That was a fantastic ride. Wow what a miss that we didn't get another.

We subscribe to DirecTV. We have for a very very long time and currently pay $110 a month. We don't watch a lot of things, mostly Reelz (on patrol live!) and Thunder Basketball. We do enjoy having a traditional menu system with channel #s and we still have our old dish on the roof. Not many will have that going forward with DTV Streaming now for the same cost as the old satellite. But for $110 a month, we got everything we watch just about. I know this won't capture all users, but moving to Prime would be the best path forward in my opinion. They can carry 4k broadcast. The subscription has a ton more value than just a streaming service for most users.

@CAlmanza1007 @The_ThunderWire despise FanDuel, LOVE our crew. My biggest concern is that we have even worse access to games and more wind up on things like Peacock.
