@msjanebond007 @Dawn_French Yes, that would be seen as a major transgression! Clotted cream is pretty rare in Ireland but there's a very good fermented cream from @cuinneog that is perhaps even better.

Press release and video just received makes shock claim that QEII puts cream on first, not jam, when eating scones. But it seems HM uses *clotted* cream. Try doing that with whipped cream... (Well, it's a bit of light relief from airports, mass murder, misogyny and the like ).
